So I had my second class on Linear B yesterday, and as one of the examples the instructor used a word that’s transliterated as /ksenwiya/, which is probably related to xenos/xenia which means “guest” in Ancient Greek but in Linear B also seems to be referring to some type of textile “for guests,” and they don’t really know if that’s a good or bad thing but my main takeaway is that they had guest towels in the Mycenaean period.

Oversimplifications

It would be an oversimplification to say there are two types of worriers. There are two types of worriers: 1. Those that share their worried thoughts with their loved ones. 2. Those that keep their worried thoughts inside until they are liable to implode.
