my kingdom awaits
Owen: hadn't expected to find an apartment so quickly, but his hunt proved to be fruitful fairly quickly. His shift at work was coming to a close and he had already planned on an all-nighter to set up his surroundings in the new home. He hadn't had the opportunity to meet his new and unknown roommate as of yet, the two seeming to have different schedules, but he had managed to rearrange his hours at work today to be able to unpack and unwind, so he figured today would be the day. The clock ticked away, and soon enough it was quitting time and Owen wasted no time racing to his new home and psyching himself up to begin decorating. Fishing the newly acquired key from his pocket, he let himself into the barren apartment and made his way to the room he'd designated as his own. He could hear a faint shuffle coming from the kitchen, making a stop there to meet the other tenant. "Hey man, I'm Owen, I- oh, hi," he staggered, raising a brow at the blonde female in the room. "I'm Owen," he repeated, glancing around the room for another body that didn't seem to exist. "Are you helping someone move in?"
