Owen doesn't believe himself worthy of "wealth" (two (2) diamonds and one (1) golden apple) and also seems to be under the impression that Chrono might *punish* him for it? Like *maybe* he just thinks him have things is bad and since he now serves Chronos that's who he has to plead to for mercy?

Also it's not the possession of wealth that seems to be the issue here, he hands it all off to Apo and sees no issue in her having these things, it's *him* having wealth. And isn't that interesting?

Drift keeps being very skeptical of Owen's knowledge of time and the future, and I think the reason for that (which makes me ill) is likely that she refuses to accept the idea that her future may already be predetermined.
