Being such close friends, many would probably believe that they’d make a good couple. Maybe they even think that they’re already a couple.

But let’s be honest: why do people make the assumption that two close friends have to be a couple? Especially two friends of opposite genders. (Not that I have anything against people who do fall in love with their best friends, your feelings are your own feelings. It’s okay if you end up falling in love with your own friends, I’m just referring to when it comes to shipping.)

I’d also bring up their issues and self-loathing, but I think I’ve covered those enough from other asks. Don’t really see the need to repeat myself with that.
