MY K-POP WIRE at live: Whee In Lit Up Singapore with Her Charm, Energy and Vocals
Singapore shone a little brighter on November 1, 2025, as MAMAMOO’s Whee In lit up the stage with her OWHEECE Fan-Con Tour showcase — a night defined by her down-to-earth charm, playful energy, and mesmerizing vocals that left fans glowing with joy.
✨ Opening Notes and Office Vibes
As the lights dimmed and a soft melody filled the venue, Whee In opened her Singapore set with Easy. The moment her voice resonated through the hall, cheers erupted, marking a long-awaited reunion.
“Hello everyone!” she greeted with a bright smile. It was her first time performing solo in Singapore, and she wasted no time complimenting local MooMoos on their impressive Korean. “We haven’t met in a long time,” she said warmly, before adding with a grin, “I became a CEO.”
Her statement referred not to a real company, but to the playful concept behind her OWHEECE Fan-Con tour — a creative twist on the word “office.” In this concept, Whee In takes on the role of CEO, leading her fans through a world of music and stories that reflect her growth, independence, and confidence as an artist. She invited fans to join her in this new chapter with sincerity and a wink of humor.
🎤 Cheer Sessions and CEO Energy
Keeping the energy high, Whee In got the audience involved in a warm-up cheer session, dividing the hall into three groups and urging them to shout louder with each round. The venue filled with laughter as she tossed snacks into the crowd, sharing her excitement with fans.
At one point, she proudly showed off her new microphone — a gift from MooMoos — and teased that Singapore fans were “more realistic and honest” with their reactions, drawing even more laughter. Between chats, she slipped in short renditions of songs by her MAMAMOO members, sparking waves of nostalgia throughout the hall.
💃 Dance Covers and Confident Leadership
The energy soared when Whee In launched into a dance cover segment, paying homage to other K-pop acts including SHINee, ATEEZ, NCT, Monsta X, VIVIZ, and ITZY. Before beginning, she explained that each song was chosen intentionally to reflect different stages of her “CEO” storyline.
She began with SHINee’s Hard to symbolize dedication and perseverance, followed by ATEEZ’s Work to represent constant effort. Next came NCT’s Boss, embodying her ambition to lead with strength, and Monsta X’s Follow, capturing her newfound confidence as “the boss.” VIVIZ’s Untie then expressed the freedom that comes after hard work, before she concluded with ITZY’s Wannabe, smiling as she said, “I’ve become someone I used to wannabe.”
🎶 A Nostalgic MAMAMOO Medley
Whee In slowed things down with a heartfelt performance of You, You, before surprising fans with a medley of MAMAMOO hits including Gogobebe, Egotistic, HIP, and You’re the Best. The crowd’s cheers grew louder with every chorus, peaking when Whee In revealed that MAMAMOO is preparing for a comeback next year — and expressed her hope to return to Singapore for a full group concert.
Her sentimental side shone through as she performed 25, reflecting on the time that had passed since her last visit. She reminisced about past memories and thanked fans sincerely for their unwavering support, saying Singapore was one of the first destinations she wanted to include on her tour.
🌷 Encore: New Beginnings
As the night drew to a close, Whee In performed Butterfly as her final song before the encore. But the audience wasn’t ready to say goodbye — chants of “Encore! Encore!” filled the venue until she returned to the stage with a radiant smile.
For her encore set, she performed Baekhyun’s Candy, followed by her own Watercolor from her debut mini album. Finally, she ended with D-Day, a fitting message of new beginnings.
“Let’s meet again,” Whee In said softly, bowing deeply before waving goodbye. It was a simple yet powerful close to a night that celebrated her artistry, authenticity, and the unshakable bond she shares with fans who have followed her every step of the way.
