🎨: We left the cheesecake untouched and rushed Quinn to the hospital. All of us. Us. She wasn’t due, but the doctor confirmed she was definitely in labor. I got Quinn a private room, and we all filed in. During the chaos, I called Jaxon. I told him to drop the twins off with Avery, and Jack would pick them up. He was here in less than 30 minutes.
Jaxon went with Quinn to the yoga balls to help with the pain while they were gone. Aunt Shelby started to feel sick. Luckily, we were already in the hospital. They quickly diagnosed it as food poisoning. No one else was sick from the food, so we narrowed it down to her eating human food (Aunt Shelby is a vampire). It was turning into quite a night out.
🎨: We were at the SIMcredible Aurora Casino. It was a true Owis girls outing: Aunt Nylah, Aunt Shelby, and Aunt Brandy; Quinn, Capri, and Mya. The ladies were dressed to the nines and ready to eat and gamble. After a few rounds at the tables and a spin at the slots, we went upstairs to the restaurant to have dinner, and tonight it was free!
After the food came out, Quinn started complaining about being uncomfortable and excused herself to go to the restroom. I offered to go with her, but she said it was probably nothing. She was gone for 5 minutes, and when she came back, she told us she was pretty sure she was in labor!

*Im not going to lie I couldn’t control the lighting in the casino and it made poor Mya look pasty, I don’t have anything to compare it to but for a celebrity from Del Sol Valley 😒. So eventually I tired all the lights off in the dining area and she finally looked normal.
🎨: We were having an Indian summer in Willow Creek. It made for an even better Harvestfest 🍁
*Everyone spanned but the twins (Charlie and Jax ), and no matter what I did, they just wouldn’t show up. I tried inviting them over and starting a club meeting.
🎨: A lot had changed since I was home for Quinn's birthday. Mom got a haircut and changed her look, and it was Capri-Sun's birthday. Of course, she wanted to have a fancy dinner. So we all got dressed up and went out.
*Something was wrong with the restaurant because the food never got delivered. But the Moet made it to the table as well as the cake, so we did okay.
🪖: When things didn't seem to be getting any better, I had to call in reinforcements. Quinn and Capri were here the day after I’d called them. I sent them up to the bedroom, where Kennedy hoped they would be able to convince her of what I could not. They were up there for over 2 hours before I started to worry. I wondered if I did the right thing by calling them, but I never disturbed them, trusting that her sister could handle this. She was everything to them, and they loved Lane just as much, if not more. I knew they wouldn’t leave till they were sure they would both be okay.
🎨: I immediately returned to the crowd. If he were here, I wouldn’t let him corner me. He never hurt me before, but I didn’t think encountering him alone was a good idea. My wonderful piano friend, whose name I couldn’t remember for the life of me, returned, giving me the cue to begin painting again. Again, I was swept away by the excitement and music. I didn’t realize he’d found me till I heard Capri's voice behind me.
I was at her side in an instant. My posture dared him to go after my sister. He glared at her but didn’t make a move. I recognized the signs immediately. The hunched shoulder walk, glossy eyes, and pasty skin were a dead giveaway that he was high. I asked what he was doing there and how he found me. His response to why he came made my skin crawl. How he found me was an easier pill to swallow. He'd seen the Simstagram post about the event, which was open to the public, and I hadn't thought to tell Diego about Drew.
No one seemed to have noticed the disturbance, and I didn’t want to make a scene, so I tried to get him to step outside, agreeing to speak with him if he did. Capri started to protest, and when I turned to shush her, Drew rushed forward and grabbed me. I shoved him off and slapped him before I knew what I was doing.
That gained the attention of a few guests passing nearby. I grabbed Drew by the jacket and dragged him outside with Capri not far behind us. I sat next to Capri, trying to keep a distance between us and him. The conversation was going nowhere, but Drew had refused to sit down, so we were trapped. I didn't know what to do, but Capri had taken care of that for me. I didn’t know she made the call till I saw him approaching. I was unsure if the relief or fear would win, but I knew this wasn't going to end well for Drew.

*YALL!!! This is not just storytelling; this man is really losing it. He is writing his narrative himself. I changed some of the wording, but these are the actual notifications that I got when he randomly showed up, and these are his actual moodlets (thanks to control any sim).
🎨: I have the best baby sister in the world, hands down.
*The first time I wrote the post, I included that her obstetrician is a complete a-hole. They specifically requested the ultrasound not reveal the baby's gender, and what does he immediately do....Capri, Kennedy, and I know the baby's gender.
🎨: First, Brunch. Then mani/pedi and massages for each of us at the spa. By late afternoon, we were headed back to my place for cake tasting. This was our last chance, and I wanted to get it right. When we got there, Jack laid out everything for us. He moved the living room furniture around to accommodate the extra tables. Before he and Jaxon took off, he had one more gift for me. It was a gorgeous, long-stemmed red rose. Its petals were a saturated red, but they were soft as silk. I reminded him he’d already given me flowers for the day, but he said the daisies were from the girls, the rose was from him. While that flirtatious gesture lingered in the back of my mind all night, I enjoyed the rest of my mother’s days with my sisters and the woman who gave us everything ♥️.
