🎬: After my job in Del Sol Valley Judith took us to a black and white party the last party before the new year. After the party Judith went home while Mya and I took a late night walk. When we got to the edge of Del Sol Valleys Ward National Park I suggested we go in for a little stroll claiming I’d never seen it before. Then I asked the only girl I’ve ever loved to be my forever partner. She said yes ♥️
* I had Judith throw a black and white bash to introduce Capri to some of her colleagues (basically I used Judith so Capri could meet more Celebrities). It wasn’t anything fancy so I didn’t take pictures. Judith really likes Capri 😊 in that Judith way 😅
🎨: When we got back with the tree, I finally found out what the big secret was. It was a tree decorating sleepover! Jack and Capri planned it during one of their ASL lessons, and the girls had been in on it. Jack, Capri, and I got the tree standing, and then it was absolute joyous chaos.
*I got a little sad 😢 because this same time last year, the photos were of Brandon, Leah, and infant Kennedy and Quinn. Capri wasn’t even born yet. Now Brandon is gone, Capri is here and thriving, and Kennedy is grown and setting up for her own family at Winterfest.

🎨: So, apparently, Capri is here to babysit. It’s date night, and our sitter cancelled, or that’s the story Jack told me. It didn’t make sense considering Capri is one of the busiest people we know with her career as an actress keeping her constantly on the move. The girls were ecstatic but seemed a little unsurprised when she rang the doorbell.
They were up to something. When I tried to ask Capri how she managed to make time, and make it on time. She just smiled along with everyone else and told me to enjoy my night. I wanted to play the big-sister card. Still, you only get so many of those in a lifetime,e and this didn’t seem like the right time to use it, so I finished getting dressed, climbed in the car, cranked up the heat, and let Jack drive us to the secret destination that everyone but me seemed to know about. How did this keep happening?
*Jack has kept every date night location a secret from the time they got back together, including where he picked for the Sulani trip, the Art gallery, the Dinner after her promotion, and all the others. It’s become their thing.
🎨: A lot had changed since I was home for Quinn's birthday. Mom got a haircut and changed her look, and it was Capri-Sun's birthday. Of course, she wanted to have a fancy dinner. So we all got dressed up and went out.
*Something was wrong with the restaurant because the food never got delivered. But the Moet made it to the table as well as the cake, so we did okay.
🎨: I immediately returned to the crowd. If he were here, I wouldn’t let him corner me. He never hurt me before, but I didn’t think encountering him alone was a good idea. My wonderful piano friend, whose name I couldn’t remember for the life of me, returned, giving me the cue to begin painting again. Again, I was swept away by the excitement and music. I didn’t realize he’d found me till I heard Capri's voice behind me.
I was at her side in an instant. My posture dared him to go after my sister. He glared at her but didn’t make a move. I recognized the signs immediately. The hunched shoulder walk, glossy eyes, and pasty skin were a dead giveaway that he was high. I asked what he was doing there and how he found me. His response to why he came made my skin crawl. How he found me was an easier pill to swallow. He'd seen the Simstagram post about the event, which was open to the public, and I hadn't thought to tell Diego about Drew.
No one seemed to have noticed the disturbance, and I didn’t want to make a scene, so I tried to get him to step outside, agreeing to speak with him if he did. Capri started to protest, and when I turned to shush her, Drew rushed forward and grabbed me. I shoved him off and slapped him before I knew what I was doing.
That gained the attention of a few guests passing nearby. I grabbed Drew by the jacket and dragged him outside with Capri not far behind us. I sat next to Capri, trying to keep a distance between us and him. The conversation was going nowhere, but Drew had refused to sit down, so we were trapped. I didn't know what to do, but Capri had taken care of that for me. I didn’t know she made the call till I saw him approaching. I was unsure if the relief or fear would win, but I knew this wasn't going to end well for Drew.

*YALL!!! This is not just storytelling; this man is really losing it. He is writing his narrative himself. I changed some of the wording, but these are the actual notifications that I got when he randomly showed up, and these are his actual moodlets (thanks to control any sim).
🎨: We'd all seen pictures when Mya and Capri Sun were searching for venues, but once they decided, we were kept in the dark. Capri had to compromise on the Lavender farm she'd originally wanted, which was completely booked for the spring season, and they didn't want to wait another year for the lavender plants to be in bloom to get married, so they kept looking. They considered the Almanara Castle in Tartosa, which Judith loved, claiming her daughter deserved to be married like royalty. It was a beautiful space, but even though Capri had a taste for lavish things and a celebrity lifestyle, she really wanted to get married somewhere that reminded her of home.

🎨: First, Brunch. Then mani/pedi and massages for each of us at the spa. By late afternoon, we were headed back to my place for cake tasting. This was our last chance, and I wanted to get it right. When we got there, Jack laid out everything for us. He moved the living room furniture around to accommodate the extra tables. Before he and Jaxon took off, he had one more gift for me. It was a gorgeous, long-stemmed red rose. Its petals were a saturated red, but they were soft as silk. I reminded him he’d already given me flowers for the day, but he said the daisies were from the girls, the rose was from him. While that flirtatious gesture lingered in the back of my mind all night, I enjoyed the rest of my mother’s days with my sisters and the woman who gave us everything ♥️.
