“Of course not.” She chuckled, leading the man from his seat. “What’s a simple dance among friends?” She rested her other hand on his shoulder.

Ⱶ   “Considering the rarity of things being....simple.” He placed a hand at her waist. “It still leads to curiosity. And you don’t seem the one to have any skill in the art of dancing.” He teased before taking a step back in the first step, leading her along to the silence of the air.
