i finally watched the hardest thing and i literally can’t remember any of my thoughts in order just a rollercoaster of feelings

• Hop Pop said he wishes he knew other people who like plants… remember that one episode where Marcy was super excited to go buy seeds and Hop Pop was like “how’d you like to be adopted”

• i love that they still have, as they put it, some of Marcy’s “quirks”

• ANDRIAS DIVORCE ARC

• come on they were 100% dating. THE AMOUNT OF BLUSHING AND NICKNAMES WAS NOT PLATONIC K. THE PORTRAIT????

• i really like Leaf, and I’m glad she has a NAME finally

• she also just HAS to be a Plantar. she did the dance

• Andrias and Barrel having the voices of Hunter and Dipper is unnecessarily funny to me

• THE PARALLELS BETWEEN SASHANNARCY AND THESE THREE. “don’t you think it’s time to let go of these childhood friends of yours…”

OMG I JUST WATCHED ESCAPE TO AMPHIBIA.

• the Boonchuys are such dorks

• All of their friends helping with the portal/breaking the law was the best part ughhwysgsbfbajfnshsjakalalknsbdhfhebdb

• Anne fighting the FBI in a tux with a plastic lightsaber is possibly the best thing I’ve seen all week

• I am never going to shut up about Jess and Ally ever

• I knew Terri and Jan would make great friends!

• THE GLOWY STABBY SWORD THINFGY IN THE STORE

I watched the new Owl House! This one was a LOT.

• where do i even start.

• i loved how Eda immediately puts her jacket over Luz’s shoulders when she sees that Luz is sad

• Luz texting Hunter was hilarious

• it’s interesting to me that Amity was supposed to be recruited into the Emperor’s Coven this young… we saw Lilith and Eda try out but it wasn’t super clear whether Lilith actually started in the coven then

• also interesting is that Ed and Em were using spells to alter their appearances slightly… even though they don’t have to dye their hair like Amity they do seem to be pressured to look a certain way

• Luz and Amity’s outfits were super cute

• ED HAS A BAT

• EDA CALLING LUZ HER CHILD 🥺

• “WRATH IS NOT MY EX” may have been Eda’s best part in this whole episode

• “wrath may know why my… friend doesn’t seem to remember me” friend, huh?

• I really was not expecting the thing about Luz’s dad. I should’ve guessed that he would be at least mentioned when we saw the photo in Yesterday’s Lie, but I hadn’t thought about it, it was never really brought up. Of course, the reason it’s never mentioned is because Luz doesn’t talk about it, which makes sense because Luz has already joined the Main Characters With Denial and Avoiding Talking About Your Problems Club along with such classics as Steven and Anne

• I’m really glad that the conflict with Amity and Alador wasn’t automatically “fixed” at the end. Amity said, “it’s a start”, which is exactly what Willow said to her.

for the bingo, it occurred to me that I should have circled “lumity first date” a while ago, so I’ll do that now.
