Another day in the life with Ehlers danlos syndrome

Me: -Goes to first aid-Can I have an ice pack please

Them:Of course, what for?

Me: oh I just dislocated my shoulder, but it’s okay -Bearing in mind I do this on a daily basis-

Them:SHIT do you need to go to hospital

Me:nah, I’m good-Takes the ice pack and wheels off-

Another first aid situation

My friend:-Kicks me but playfully and dislocated my knee-

Me:-Goes to first aid-Can I have an ice pack please?

First aid:Why?

Me:Oh just dislocated my knee cap

First aid: you sure you just need an ice cap and not the hospital

Me: Nah I’m good thanks-Walks off with ice pack, hopping back to class-

*Does routine work at college for the animals *

Joints:Soo we are gonna give you a fuck load of pain and dislocate

*Having to sit down due to the amount of pain and that I can’t feel any of my body*

Eds problems #2

That moment when you have a cold but your determined to still go to college although it is making you more worn out and hurt all other.

So today even after being told “are you sure you want to go in today” I went to college , looking forward to lessons, seeing my boyfriend and my friends. But I didn’t realise the consequences and I am now facing the pain . I want to go in tomorrow as it’s children in need and a reason to wear my stitch onesie.But I may have to see how I am tomorrow and maybe to half a day.

Don’t you just hate it when you do something and it has a huge side effect

-Moves the gerbil cage away from my door to all the way across the room-

Also me :

-Suffering from pain the next morning after doing that and doing too much at college yesterday-
