✦ Pre-relationship:

It’s not hard to miss Silver at first, but upon second look, he is impossible to ignore. His beauty stuns you from the first moment you meet him. 

You want to get to know him, but… he has a somewhhat intimidating aura, and hangs around Malleus, Lilia, and Sebek, who can all contribute to the difficulty of meeting him, not to mention your shyness. 

One day, you find him sleeping under a tree, surrounded by forest animals, and your heart melts at the sight. He’s almost like a princess!

He wakes up, startled at the sight of you, but before he can say anything, a bunny hops over towards you cautiously.

You crouch down and extend your hand towards it, and as it sniffs your fingers and you smile at it, Silver feels his heart beat a little quicker. 

Suddenly, it seems like you are the princess!

After that, Silver approaches you slowly, starting with greeting you with a nod when you pass, and working up until you two hang out together!

You two spend a lot of time talking about life, and he’s more than happy to join you in the kitchen when you’ve got something you want to make, or at your place to practice some music. 

He loves to hear you sing, especially. 

He’s a vigilant person, and so he will quickly pick up on your dislike for sudden loud noises, blood, and pain. His training as a retainer for Malleus kick in without thinking about it, and soon he’s shielding you from these situations when he can, and gently caring for you when he can’t. 

He’s always watching out for his precious friend, and always ready to help whenever you ask. 

In the same vein, he will make sure to help you physically and emotionally when needed. When you shut down, he’s reminding you that he’s there if you need him. When you have a bad day with chronic illnesses, he’s there to hold your hand and walk through it with kindness. 

✦ Confession: 

He doesn’t even realize he’s fallen in love with you until Lilia gently introduces the topic to him. Silver is so focused on becoming a good knight for Malleus and a good friend to you that the thought seemed almost heretical. 

And yet…he can’t deny the way his heart hammers when he sees you in cute dresses, or the way he blushes when you turn your radiant smile towards him in thanks. 

It takes him a while to accept his feelings, and even longer to come up with a plan of action for confessing to you.

One day, after the two of you were out in the school’s garden tending to some plants, SIlver tells you how he feels. He’s got dirt on his pants, his face is bright red, and he is undoubtedly nervous, but his eyes never leave yours, and his words are unshakably true. 

✦ Relationship:

Although Silver isn’t exactly playful, he’s certainly much more silly and open around you. He doesn’t have to worry about the pressure of being a perfect knight, and so he shows you his forgetfulness and sleepiness in all its glory. 

On a side note, he feels completely at ease when he falls asleep around you. Your caring nature and gentleness make him feel like he’s safe and sound, no matter where the two of you are. 

If you thought he was attentive before, you’ll be blown away by his dedication to you while dating. Despite the fact that he can be a bit forgetful, he’s aware of what you need before you even need it. He can tell when you’d like help and when you’d like to be on your own, and he’s ready to provide whatever you need at a moment’s notice. 

When he does forget things, you remind him with a laugh. He feels a bit embarrassed at first, but he knows you accept him wholeheatredly, and that makes him fall even more in love. 

Silver knows that you bottle up your emotions, and he does struggle a bit with how to best help you. After a bit of trial and error, you two come up with a system of communication that makes you both feel heard and understood, even if you both can struggle to put your feelings into words. 

Here, his logical thinking helps with knowing what you need, but you may need to encourage him to tap into his emotional side as well. 

You two are straight out of a fairytale: a dashing couple whose strengths lie in honesty, kindness, and a profound love that is sure to make a wonderful story.

✦Pre-relationship:

You meet Jamil at a Scarabia party post-overblot, and the two of you instantly click.

The way you make jokes with him right off the bat, and the way you confidently speak to him, makes him feel assured that he doesn’t have to play social games with you. 

He can tell what you’re about from the get-go, and that’s surprisingly refreshing for him. 

You two bond instantly over a love of food, dance, and music, and you also bond over the hobbies you two don’t share in common. He likes that you’re not afraid to learn more about his likes, and somehow, he feels himself opening up to you quicker than average. 

The same goes for you: Jamil’s honesty and desire to prove himself are admirable, and it makes you want to root for him all the way. 

You don’t really realize that you’ve begun to let out the feelings you’ve pushed down for so long until they’ve already left your lips. And certainly not by use of magic; Jamil’s emotional intellegence and past experiences means he’s an excellent listener, and an ever better shoulder to cry on.

Hangouts often consist of going to new restaurants around the port town, gossiping about whatever juicy rumors you’ve heard in the cafeteria, and self-care days which are filled with endless relaxation. 

Somehow, Jamil becomes someone with whom you can have an invigorating conversation about ethics just as easily as a peaceful day basking in eachother’s company. 

✦Confession: 

Jamil likely realized he was in love with you early on, however he was hesitant to say anything about it. His future has always been murky, and even as he rises above his circumstances, he struggles to believe that there is a world out there that will take him as he is, no strings attached. 

But…

He does suspect that if there is a world like that, that you are almost definitely part of it. That you’ve likely already begun clearing the way for it to blossom, and for him to step into it. 

It’s a quiet night in, with the two of you reading together, when he tells you. It isn’t grand or bold, but the quiet sincerity and passion of his feelings reaches you just as easily.

✦Relationship:

You two are a power couple, for sure. 

You dominate the academic standings, and are never ones to trifle with, especially when you’re together. 

Jamil is your biggest fan in whatever you do, whether that’s challenging his fellow basketball club members to a game, or playing an instrument for him, or just existing. He’s by your side 100%, ride or die. 

And vice versa, of course. Your beleif in him and love for him have made him aim even higher than before, and it shows in his newfound confidence in himself and his abilities. 

Jamil shows his love through small gifts he buys you from time to time, as well as just by being by your side, even when things are difficult or unsure. He’s not one to back down from challenges, and he’s certainly one of the most loyal people you’ll ever meet once you truly earn it. 

(And you have). 

 You two have the most wonderful dates sitting beneath the starry night sky in the scarabia dorm, where you can see the little lights in the darkness until they disappear beyond the horizon line. Whether you’re talking or sitting in silence doesn’t matter, just that the two of you are there together. That’s all you need.
