To say that Ruairi was a mess was an understatement of the century. He had never been around so much death and destruction. He had only learned that he was a banshee no more than five years ago and he never really went out of his way to find those who were dying or dead. Sure, when he sleepwalked, he tended to find them but it wasn't like he sought them out when he was conscious. So the fact that the was at this fair with just...death all around him, Ruairi was just...not himself. He felt nauseous.
Not to mention what had happened with Lark. He couldn't stop thinking about his boyfriend. He had no idea if he was going to be okay. Hayden had taken him somewhere and Ruairi tried to follow her but she was too fast for him. And honestly, he wouldn't be much help in that situation so it was probably for the best that he wasn't there. But right now, Ruairi didn't want to be alone. He was afraid and fear was never good for him.
The Irishman made his way back to the pastry stand and took a seat on the bench in front of it, placing his face in his hands. Suddenly, the nausea that Ruairi was feeling hit full force and he couldn't help but dry heave. He placed his forearms on his knees as he heaved for a few moments and once it passed he just placed his face back in his hands. What a terrible day.
