&. PROPOSAL
Today was the day.
Ian had planned this day for the last two months, and now it was here. Today he would propose to the love of his life. And he hoped with everything of his being that she’ll say yes. They’d been together for one and a half years now, living together for five months and although they had quite a few ups and downs, Ian wanted nothing more but to spend the rest of his life with Alex.
In these last two months he had asked her mums for their permission to ask Alex to marry him. He had looked for the perfect ring, and had eventually found one on a trip to London, almost getting caught when he came back and wanted to hide the ring from Alex. He had spend a lot of time in the studio, searching for the perfect song to sing to her and practicing it. He had asked the owner and his old boss of the Bluebird Café if they could rent it for the night and luckily he said yes. Ian had spend so much time on this day, wanting everything to be perfect. And today he would find out if it’d all been worth it.
To say he was nervous would be a big understatement.
Right now Ian was waiting in the Bluebird together with his bandmates and Alex’ family, fiddling with the small red box in his hands and walking up and down anxiously. And Alex should be on her way to the café, sitting in a cap, getting blindfolded by her best friend.
