Ava had been standing in a corner talking to a distant cousin with whom she’d always gotten along with when the Lady Bea called attention and announced what’d happened. The gasp was as sharp as the shock that immediately covered everyone’s faces, as the chill that ran down her spine. “I--..if you’ll excuse me.” She told him, giving him an apologetic look that was at least quickly brushed off before she was moving. Everyone seemed to be in a hurry then, trying to get to someone they knew, someone they felt safe with, murmurs of murder and dangerous in the air and she quickly tried to make her way through the countless amounts of people, frowning as she looked around for just one person in particular.

Ava put her phone down as she walked over towards him, a smile on her face as she took in the sight of him for the umpteenth time that day. “I’ll never get over how handsome you look whenever you get all dressed up.”

Chris: got off from the bench he was sitting on, having watched Darren for a couple of minutes while texting him. It had been fun watching his husband drunkenly text him and running about. Nothing bad or serious had happened. But that didn't mean it wouldn't. Chris picked up a slice of pizza, on a plate, and walked towards Darren. "Pizza delivery!" He called out, so Darren would come towards him as well. He thought that Darren shouldn't be drinking that much, but... well, if his life was going to be over in a couple of months...
