Stuck.

With a loud humph Liv dropped the last of her boxes down and braced both hands at her hips. It was almost surreal to see all of her things, or at least the packaged presence of her things, scattered about Alex’s home. Although, it was probably a smart idea to begin thinking of the condo as her home now, too. How a girl like her from the wrong side of London had ended up in a place like Beverly Hills was still a mystery. She pondered that thought for a moment as her hazel orbs traveled around the room.
She didn’t have long to get lost in her thoughts, though. The front door opened and closed behind her with a gust of tepid air blowing in during the process. Turning on her heels she regarded Alex for a moment as a small smile crept across her face. “Well, this is it.” She declared as her footsteps carried her back in his direction. As her arms moved to drape around his shoulders there was a subtle, not to mention teasing, lift to her brows. “If you were having second thoughts about me being here it’s too late now. You’re completely stuck with me.” With that she laughed quietly and then leaned forward to press a kiss against his mouth. “You’re also completely stuck with boxes all over the place because after that I’m beat. Please say it’s time for a break.”
