Merry Christmas, Mrs. West-Allen
Just The Two of Us
Characters: Iris West & Barry Allen
Setting: The Loft
Date: May 12 Evening
Notes: NSFW
Iris sighed as she walked into the loft. It was like any other day, but there was that something in the air that knew had to do with what had happened the previous week. Work had gone crazy with stories on what had happened so of course, Iris would be getting home later than normal. Turning on a few lights, she looked around and didn't see any sign of Barry or that he had even been home. Letting out a sigh, she walked over to the couch and sat down running a hand through her hair before taking off her heels. As soon as her head rested on the back of the couch, her eyes shut and she felt the stress of the day hitting her. Barry would be home at some point and closing her eyes wouldn't do any harm, right? Soon enough her breathing evened and she relaxed not even hearing the front door open.
Barry: Sometimes, Barry found using his speed was an overkill. He loved his speed, thought it was one of the best parts of him but tonight, well, tonight all he wanted to do was crawl into bed and stay there until the late hours of the morning with Iris, of course. It was Friday night, and that meant they could relax tomorrow, right? Probably not but still, he hoped. His father had told him once that a little hope never hurt. So, he was going to hope for peace for the next twenty-four hours. All he wanted was to spend one day a week with his favorite person. Especially after Central City had almost been wiped cleaned. He pushed Oracle out of his mind and everything that happened after. Now was not the time to dwell on that all over again. They were safe and so was the city. Barry planned on switching all of that off. One night, he told himself. Slinging his shoulder bag on, he made it to the front door of the loft in under five seconds from CCPD before entering. The lights were switched on and he spotted Iris right away with her head resting on the top of the sofa. He could only imagine what the last couple weeks had done to her. Placing his shoulder bag on one of the dining room chairs, he closed the distance between them. He didn’t take a seat beside her, instead, deciding to lean over and press a warm, sweet kiss to her lips. The last thing he wanted to do was distract her from sleep. “Hey,” he murmured, looking down at her and rubbing a gentle thumb over the underside of her jaw. “I’m home.”
Iris stirred in her sleep when she heard a voice. It didn't scare her, it was a more familiar voice that she had heard so many times. She smiled when he touched her jaw before opening her eyes. "You are home," she smiled looking up at him. Lifting her hand, she pulled his chin towards her again for a kiss. Iris missed his kisses, there was something about them that made her feel at home and whole. "I missed you today," she said realizing she didn't make it to CCPD or even STAR Labs for that matter. Taking his hands, she pulled him to join her on the couch and leaned over to kiss him again. A sigh left her lips as she relaxed and snuggled up next to him. "I think I could sleep for a week," she said wrapping her arms around him as she listened to his heartbeat. She had gotten used to it being faster than normal which only made it that more special because she always knew it was him. Opening her eyes, she looked up at him and took in his face noticing how tired it looked and almost warn out. "You need a massage," she smirked as she leaned up placing a kiss on his neck.
Barry: “Mhm.” Sounded from the back of Barry’s throat when she kissed him again. His eyes filtered down and he savored the taste of her lips. It was probably due to the fact that Barry had dreamt about kissing her for all of his teen and adult years, that he always lingered or maybe it was just the taste of her. She always tasted of something exquisite and sweet. He rubbed his nose against hers once, then twice before fully opening his eyes staring into her brown ones. Yep, he was off Flash duty for the night. Okay, maybe not for the night but he prayed that the criminals took a hint and stopped being criminals for one night. Just one. He used his thumb to graze over her jawline in no set pattern. “I missed you too.” Between being a CSI and being the Flash, his life was pretty much chaotic all around. That’s why he was happy he had Iris because she grounded him. She’d always grounded him. “We’ll have lunch on Monday. Get the tradition going again. Promise.” He said reading her mind. It was a thing they did, where one read the other without a spoken word. Barry allowed her to drag him down beside her, going easily. He placed his arm behind her neck, and slid down to get more comfortable, toeing off his converses in the process. This was definitely what the doctor ordered. “I second that.” He murmured, pressing his lips into her hair. Snaking his arm around her he brought her closer to him. “Are you volunteering?” he teased, lifting an eyebrow. Once she cuddled up to him and planted a kiss on his neck, he knew he was a goner. One of his hands slid under the silk of her blouse and he finally realized that last pent up breath at the first feel of her heated skin. He was no longer worried about anything that might come up. “You wanna know what I think?”
Iris giggled as Barry brushed his nose against hers. It was those little things that made her feel like a lovestruck teenager again. She cuddled up to him when he got more comfortable on the couch. Pursing her lips she shrugged, “I might be volunteering,” she smirked as she sat up a little and played with the hair on the back of his head. She sucked in a breath when his hand slid under her blouse and she blushed a little. She really needed to get over being shy around him, it was Barry, it’s not like it was anything new. “What do you think?” She asked tilting her head looking at him as her hand ran across his shoulders.
Barry: Barry's eyes lowered at her soft ministrations. He loved when she touched him, but he loved, loved when she played in his hair. It was like she knew exactly what to do to turn him into putty. "Okay," he began slowly. "I might take you up on your offer...but later." his fingers traced her name repeatedly on the expanse of her exposed skin. He liked touching her, seeing her, being around her. Then again, he loved her, all of her. Leaning forward he drags an open-mouthed kiss over her cheek towards her ear. "I think we should," he paused to kiss at the underside of earlobe, her smell bathing him in home. "Soak in the tub for a whole hour." His tone is soft mixed with a hint of laughter. "Or at least until we turn into prunes." He moves back slightly, and watches her under thick lashes. "What do you think?"
Iris smirked at Barry and shook her head a little. When he said later she pouted at him before moving and straddling his lap. Never in a million years did she think she would ever be in this position with Barry. It was still all too surreal to her that she was actually in love with Barry Allen. As he kissed her, she shivered as he kissed the spot under her ear that drove her insane. Her hands roamed his chest before finally looking at him. "Now that sounds like a nice romantic evening," she giggled as her head nudged his cheek.
Barry: Barry's hands lifted to give her space to straddle his lap. God, she was beautiful. He couldn't stop the way his heart leaped into his throat or how his hands automatically framed her small hips to bring her closer. Always closer. Barry titled his head back to trace her features. He'd never get tired of looking at her. He remembered how he used to steal glances at her, always stolen, hidden, secretive but here he didn't have to be any of those things. He could shower her with all of the moments they'd missed from youth into young adult. He could love her as a man loved a woman. One of his hands slipped back underneath the material of her blouse. He was home, in their element, he didn't want to stop touching her. "That's the least I can do," Using his other hand, he ghosted a touch over the arm that had been injured from when she'd been kidnapped by Killer Frost. "After everything..." He trailed off not wanting to discuss Flash business or anything meta related. Barry moved back just enough to nudge her to look at him. "I know this isn't the easiest life, but thank you for being here, with me." He cups her cheeks. "I don't know where," or what. "I'd be without you."
Iris let out a sigh when he touched her. Her thumb brushed over his cheek and she smiled at him just taking him in. She had always looked at Barry since they were kids, but something about when he was with her brought a spark in his eyes that she didn't see very often. It brought joy to her to see the old Barry creep in every once and a while. She watched him touch her arm and let out a small sigh feeling a small sting. "I would never leave you, Bar. I've been with you through too much to let you do it alone," she smiled at him. "You would be the same adorkable nerd that I feel in love with," she said as she leaned in and kissed him.
Barry: He feathered his fingers up her spine and back down again, not for a second missing the slight inhale of pain when he's brushed her arm. He should get her back to Star Labs, see if there was anything else that could be done. Barry still shouldered the blame for Killer Frost kidnapping Iris in the first place. Again, not the time. He'd probably dwell on it after Iris was sleeping in his arms. Until then he wanted to enjoy her company. Barry grinned before laughing at her adorkable nerd description. It was no secret that he was clumsy, never on time and awkward as hell but he was growing into someone who was a little less sad. Iris had a lot to do with that. His eyes softened at her words. He'd never get over hearing her say she was in love with him. To the normal person, in a normal world, their relationship would've seemed fast paced. Them dating one second then living together the next...but this was perfect. This was them. Iris silenced him with a kiss to his lips and his heart did that happy flip Barry had coined, the Iris effect. The hand not under her shirt, slipped around the softness of her neck and he held her to him as he deepened the kiss. Iris clouded his senses, filled him with home and it was then that he realized, home wasn't a place but a person. He nibbled on her bottom lip, inhaled the nitrogen from her lungs before burying his lips over the pumping beat in her neck. "Let's head upstairs," He mumbled, biting at the flesh of her throat. "Before I forego our bath."
Iris watched his face and chuckled as she watched him laugh. It filled her with joy to see his face light up. It was like all the pain he had gone through go away. Feeling his lips on hers, she let out a sigh as her arms wrapped around his neck as went through his hair. When his lips moved to her neck, a small moan slipped out of her lips. “Yeah...upstairs,” she chuckled as she got off of his lap and looked at him with a smirk before making her way over to the stairs. “I thought you were the fastest man alive?” She jokes as she leaned against the railing of the stairs waiting for him.
Barry: Barry leaned his head on the back of the couch and watched her walk towards the stairs, already missing the heat of petite frame. Normally, he'd be more discreet about checking her out but when they're alone he throws caution to the wind and takes his fill. His eyes roam from the loose curls of her hair down to the curve of her butt and spread of her hips. Yep, she was definitely the most beautiful woman he'd ever seen. He licked his lips before snapping himself out of his reverie and standing into a stretch. "That might be true," he stated, grinning from ear to ear and following her steps to the stairs. "But for you my pace is different." He took her hand, intertwined their fingers and pressed a kiss to the back of her palm adoringly. Nudging her in front of him up the stairs, he followed closely behind. "I'm thinking I can go to Star City after our much-needed bath, grab your favorite pie," His fingers curl around her waist as he ascends "And eat in bed while we watch Casablanca. See," He moved closer, his lips brushing her ear. "I have it all figured out."
Iris smirked a little when she noticed him looking at her. She raised an eyebrow as she looked at him and smirked a little before facing him when he came towards the stairs. "Ahhh, I see, Mr. Allen," she smirked as she took hold of his hand and walked up the stairs. She giggled whens she felt his hands on her hips and turned around in his arms. "Oh, you know me so well," she said with a smile as she rested her hands on his chest. "You do have it all figured out. Question is are we really going to watch the movie?" she smirked before making her way to the bathroom.
Barry: "Uh-" Barry opened and closed his mouth, having no idea what to say. She was teasing him, he liked when she teased him. Flipping on the bathroom light, he followed her inside and worked on remembering where he'd seen her put candles. Right, in the closet downstairs. "Is this your plan?" He asked before slowing down time. His eyes lingered on her frozen frame and he smiled to himself because this was his life. She was his life, before running downstairs and grabbing the bag of candles. It took him even less time to disperse them around the bathroom. Each candle was lighted in the same quick succession he'd used to fetch them. Barry flickered off the light in the bathroom before flickering on the pipe. Water pooled into the bathtub and his body relaxed all over again at the thought of soaking in the scolding hot water. Returning to where he'd stood just before his manipulation of time, he returned it back to its normal state. "To take advantage of me? Because I'm very vulnerable right now and that wouldn't be fair." His statement was followed by a wiggle of his eyebrows and a grin on his lips. Candle light sparkled all around them and Barry glanced between Iris and the lighted candles in mock shock and awe. "Wow," He started, a touch of innocence to his tone. "I wonder who did this." He closed the bathroom door behind him and leaned against the hardwood pine, his eyes fastened on hers in the semi-darkness.
Iris jumped when she felt that familiar whoosh of air around her. Before she could even think, she looked and saw him standing there. "Oh, are you vulnerable? I would never to advantage of you," she smirked glancing up at him seeing him move his eyebrows. She looked around when she noticed the candles around them and shook her head. "Gee, I wonder who did it," she smiled looking over at him as she saw him standing against the door. "You're really handsome," she smiled as she walked over to him letting her hands linger on his chest. "And too romantic. I swear I'm never going to live up to it," she giggled before moving to undo the buttons on her shirt.
Barry: "Yes. I am." He answered placing a hand over his chest. Barry really, really wanted to kiss her right now. "Never?" His jaw dropped opened. "I dunno, Iris. I kinda want you to take advantage of me all the time, even in my most vulnerable state." He shrugged a shoulder to illustrate his point and watched her move to where he stood. His hands itched to pull her close when she stopped in front of him and placed a hand on his chest. He should cool his horses, but that was a feat in and of itself. How was he supposed to react to the most beautifully, intelligent woman in the world? "I have no idea." He couldn't contain his grin. God, he loved her. His cheeks heated when she called him handsome. It wasn't the first time she'd said that to him but the feeling it brought always cascaded in his gut, making him feel invincible. She made him nervous, and happy. Enthralled and naked all at once. She made him feel alive, like no matter what tomorrow brought, if she was there it would automatically be better. Pushing off the doorframe, he closed the distance between them. His hands covered hers on the button of her shirt. "Let me." he muttered, looking down at her. His hands worked to undo the buttons. "You don't ever need to live up to anything," His voice was low, deeper somehow when he pushed opened her blouse. He was quiet for a moment, his eyes raking over the soft swell of her breast in appreciation. Breathing-taking, he thought, not being able to stop his fingers from exploring the silky skin of her chest. "You're perfect." He slid the material of the shirt off her shoulders until it pooled by their feet. "You're everything I've ever wanted and more." Lowering his head, he brushed a tender kiss over her lips, his fingers numbly dragging down the zipper of her skirt.
Iris "Oh do you? Because I mean I can if you want me to," he smirked as she walked closer to him. She stopped for a moment when he walked toward her and sucked in a breath when his voice got low. Something about that side of his voice made him seem even more attractive than he already was. "For you, always," she smiled as she let him undo her shirt. The minute he called her perfect, she blushed and felt her whole body get hot. It was still a new thing for her, someone calling her perfect because she never really felt like that. She hadn't been with a lot of guys to even know what it felt like and there was always something different when Barry said it, like he was meant to say it. "Am I?" she asked meeting his lips for before pulling away and giving him a smile as her hands worked his shirt. Kicking herself out of her skirt and underwear she stepped into the tub while letting Barry's shirt fall to the ground.
Barry: “Definitely want,” In all honesty, Barry was joking. No one took care of him the way Iris did. He remembered how she’d been the first person after his mother’s death to see him cry with abandonment. That time had been so difficult for him but somehow, when he’d looked down and seen Iris’ hand grasping his, he’d known he was going to survive. Even after his father’s death when she sat on the porch of their family home and held his hand. She’d been so beautiful, and whole, and it had driven him to want to be whole too. He hadn’t realized that through the tragedy and the pain, she’d already made him whole. A part of him wondered when he’d be completely used to her, to this, them. Every time he kissed her, it felt like the first time and now small butterflies squirmed in his gut. Instead of responding, he rewarded her with another brush of lips and watched her under heavy lidded eyelashes fully undress. He only moved when she stepped into the bathtub to retrieve some flavored bath bomb and twist knob of the water off. The tub was filled with hot water, steam wafting into the atmosphere of the bathroom. Stripping, he stepped in behind her and at the first feel of water sighed in contentment. “It’s not to hot?” he asked, lowering his lean frame into the bathtub. He wanted to make sure, she was okay. All his muscles, even lightening pumping through his veins, seemed to relax all at once. This was definitely what he needed.
Iris smirked at what Barry had said and gave him a wink. She loved this boy way too much for to just sit back and let him do all the romantic things. One they were both in the bath, she looked over at him and chuckled a little when he seemed to relax under the hot water. “Trust me,” not too hot,” she said as she lowered herself down into the tub as well. She sat herself down between Barry’s legs and let her back rest on his chest. There was nothing more than being wrapped in Barry’s arms. “This is perfect,” she whispered turning her head and placing a kiss on his chin. It was like she felt every muscle in his body relax, which was something he desperately needed and her as well. She grabbed his hands wrapping them around herself before settling in a little more. “Feeling better?” She asked as she played with his fingers.
Barry: Barry didn't hesitate to murmur 'yes' next to Iris' ear. These small moments were everything. Being with Iris was everything. Tightening his arms around her, he got comfortable and pressed an open mouth kiss to her bare shoulder blade. She was tucked between his legs and the sheer difference of their height showed with how his long legs occupied the entirety of the bathtub. While Iris' stayed hidden beneath the frothy water. Barry ran the tip of his nose up her neck and back down again before agreeing with a slight murmur. This was definitely perfect. "Yes," he watched her play with his fingers, mesmerized with the act. "Thank you for doing this with me." He stated into the skin of her neck. "You being here makes it all the better."
Iris sighed as Barry as he kissed her shoulder. She moved her head back and smiled at how amazing it felt. "You don't have to thank me because I am not going anywhere," she smiled as she kissed his cheek. She sat there for a few moments thinking about them. She always thought about them and where they were going; let's face it they weren't getting any younger. "So...do you ever think about what our kids would look like?" she asked with a small smile on her lips.
Barry: Life could change in an instance. He knew better than anyone how that worked. Barry had literally created this timeline out of grief and heartache. He'd almost ruined a friendship, managed to ruin more than a few lives, created an earth shattering disaster with dire consequences, and now what? He got to live happily ever after with the girl of his dreams. He doubted that's how life would work out for him. Everything needed balance, everything needed to right itself and Barry had already subconsciously braced for the fallout. His head lulled back onto the lip of the bathtub and he closed his eyes for a brief moment. Though she was adamant about being with him, not going anywhere, anything could happen tomorrow to change that...like the timeline changing or something far worst. Before his mind could drift to a dark place, he dropped a kiss onto the crown of her head and remembered where he was. He wanted to be present for this moment, be with her in this moment. One of his hands slipped under the water and he flattened a palm over her stomach without thought after hearing her question. "Kids?" He asked, a touch of disbelief echoing in his tone. "I-" Of course he'd thought of how their kids would look. He'd thought of their wedding, of their marriage, of their life together all before the age of sixteen but that was all before he'd turned into a meta with the wait of Central City on his shoulders. "Y-yeah, I think they'd be a replica of their mother." He rubbed his hand over his stomach. "Probably have her nose, her lips, you know, be overall beautiful."
Iris furrowed her eyebrows when she heard him sound baffled. She chuckled quietly to herself as she heard his answer. Something about him getting all squirrely was adorable to her. As soon as he spoke more, she took one of his hands and smiled. “Definitely your eyes,” she whispered as her forehead touched his jawline. “And...their mother is me...right?” She asked looking back at him with a small smile before biting her lip. Maybe her hints weren’t so subtle but maybe he would catch on and this wouldn’t be awkward.
Barry: Barry was about to shoot back a reply but then her next answer threw him off guard. "W-what?" He questioned, a little baffled on why she'd think she wouldn't be the mother of his children. "You think..." His sentence trailed off as he sat up, shaking his head a bit. Overall, he was taken back. "You do know I've been in love with you since about the age of ten, right?" She was it for him. His whole world. "Yes, Iris, I see us having kids." He paused and rubbed at the back of his neck, making a mess in the process. "That is if that's what you want." he added, now not certain about where they both stood in regard to the future. He'd thought they wanted the same things. They were Iris and Barry, Barry and Iris after all but now, he was second guessing himself.
Iris paused as she listened to him and smiled. She nodded when he said he was in love with her since he was ten and maybe she was as well, she was just a little late in figuring it out. “Of course that’s what I want. I want that more than anything in the world,” she smiled as she looked at him. “I want to marry you, Barry. I want to be your wife, I want to have your kids and not because some stupid newspaper in the future says so,” she managed to turn her around and faced him. “I’m just getting antsy because you keep getting weird when I bring it up and I don’t know if that’s because your don’t want to or have some elaborate plan,” she chuckled. “I’m impatient...” she murmured before leaning forward and kissing his lips then all over his face before hiding her own face in his chest.
Barry: Iris' declarations warmed his heart and a sigh of relief rocked his chest. They were on the same page, like they'd been the day they'd met in the first grade. He still remembered his mother telling him he'd find a friend and two months later he'd met Iris. It amazed him sometimes on how the universe worked. Water swooshed over the lip of the tub and onto the floor as she switched positions. Barry felt the cold hit his chest and missed her body heat immediately. He always missed her heat. "I want to marry you too and start a family with you." That was all he wanted to do but everything didn't happen the way he wanted them too. She was right about one thing though. He had reservations about their relationship and the future of their relationship. It didn't shock him when she called him on it either. Iris knew him better than anyone else. She knew his quirks, his strengths and his weaknesses. She knew when he was lying, when he was avoiding her. Even down to his facial expressions. He opened his mouth to confess the reason he'd been standoffish but then she kissed him and proceeded to rain kisses all over his face. He grinned at her burst of affection, curled his arms around her body to bring her closer. "I love you," he began. "Like really love you. The last thing you need to be impatient about is if we're going to get married. We are. I-I just want the timing to be right." He buried his lips into the side of her skull, his eyes closing. His mind went back to the events of the previous week, Jesse's fight with time and how the threat of one person came close to ruining everything. Yeah, he had reservation and for a guy like Barry Allen, those reservations weren't going to ease away. From past experiences he'd learned not trust the happiness in his life. It always got taken away anyway.
Iris gave him a look and listened to him speak. She smiled knowing that they were meant to be together. They were meant to have a long life together. Her arms wrapped around his neck before looking up at him. "Such a romantic," she chuckled as she kissed his lips again. "Well hurry up and find that perfect timing," she smirked making a face at him. She settled on his chest before letting her eyes shut for a moment. "So...what do you say we get out of here and not watch a movie?" she whispered before starting to kiss his neck.
Barry: Barry nodded once, then twice. There were a few steps to be had before he proposed. He needed to calm his fears for one, but there was no doubt in his mind that he wanted to marry Iris or that she wanted to marry him. Excitement filled his chest cavity at the future. He didn't want to allow himself the comfort of throwing caution to the wind. It wasn't that things never went right for him, it's that when they did something came along and literally ruined it. Lightning cackled and he slowed time, his hands framing her upturned face. "There is nothing I want more than propose to you, but I can't. Not yet. I'm scared," he paused for a split second. "Everything that I've loved has been taken from me and I-I wouldn't be able to survive if..." he didn't finish, swallowing his words. He wouldn't speak it in existence. Pressing his forehead to hers, he sighed as if this simple act suppled the lightning in his veins. In a way it did. Exhaling one last time, he wrapped his arms around her body and returned time to its normality. He did his best to hide his frown and gave her a cheery quirk of lips. "What about food?" he asked running a hand up her spine and into the softness of her hair. "We have to eat something." He moved back enough to see her, and he searched her face with deliberate slowness. This was something he did on occasion, even before they'd been together. She was all the broken parts of him, all the small jagged edges. Leaning forward he pressed his lips to hers. It was a slow kiss, just a brush of lips but in a matter of seconds he deepened it. A large part of him needed the contact, needed to feel her all around him, inside of him.
Iris furrowed her eyebrows as she listened to him before letting out a sigh. She knew his fears all too well so it made sense. “Babe, there is nothing to be scared of,” she said putting a hand on his cheek. “I am not going anywhere. I don’t plan on going anywhere,” she sighed as she kissed him. As her forehead touched his, she smirked before shivering as his hand went up her back. It was the little things like that which drove her wild. “Um...I really think food can wait,” she whispered as one of her hands roamed his chest. Kissing him back, she smiled as he started out slow. As the kiss got deeper, she moved closer to him wrapping her arms around his neck. Playing with the hair on the nape of his neck, she sighed before letting out a small moan. “No food, want you,” she mumbled through the kisses. It felt like ages since they had done anything remotely close to this. Then again every time they did this always felt like the first time.
Barry: Barry smiled against her lips, his fingers shaping the back of her skull. Iris in his arms was what heaven felt like. He nipped on her bottom lip, spread open-mouthed kisses over her jawline and down the column of her slender neck. The racing thoughts dissipated with each new touch of her soft skin. He wanted her but that was nothing new. Covering her mouth with another passionate caress of tongues, he urged her straddle to his hips. Barry groaned into her mouth as he pressed closer. "Wrap your legs around me." he murmured standing from the warmth of the water with her in his arms. Both of their wet bodies dripped onto the bathroom rug when he stepped from the tub, biting at her throat again. The thump of her heartbeat matched his somehow. Then again, they shared one heart, instead of two. Placing her on her feet he gripped her hands from his shoulders and kissed each of her palms before stepping back to fetch towels. Barry wrapped one around his waist and wrapped the other around her frame. He took his time in drying her off, trailing kisses over the collarbone as the towel dried the water there. He rubbed pebbles of water from her breast, his stomach pulsating with heat as he leaned down to spread wanton kisses over the dry skin. Iris made him want to love her body, the same way he loved her heart. He got down to his knees to run the towel over her stomach. Her being pregnant popped into his mind and his heart raced into his throat. She would be beautiful carrying his child; their child. Following the tail of the towel, he sucked on the skin of her hips, moved his mouth down to touch of her thighs. His mouth watered to taste the secret of her, but he refrained himself. He finished his task, drying the rest of her body before standing to his full height. Hairs stood on every inch of his skin the way he wanted her.
Iris watched him before smiling when he moved on top of her. Her hands ran through his hair before resting on the back of his neck. A soft moan left her mouth before pulling away a little, "I love you too," she whispered before feeling the hairs on her arm stand up as he started touching her. She arched her back a little at his touch before her hands roamed his hair as heat filled her body, running down to her toes. "You're winning in the amazing department if you keep doing that," she murmured before her hips buckled. "God, where did you learn that," she mumbled as her lips found his again.
Barry: Time slowed while he kissed Iris. It felt similar to if the earth stopped rotating on its axis. Phenomenal and ethereal. She consumed him, figuratively and physically. His fingers played between her thighs, teasing in their nature. He wanted to do more but her pleasure brought him pleasure and so did her withering body. He used his tongue and teeth on her neck leaving marks of love bites. Working to control himself he changed their position bringing her on top of him. His head fell back onto the mattress and he gazed up at her. "I want you on top." he said, his voice deep and husky. His hands were already forming over her soft flesh, shaping her breast, sliding around to cup her butt. From his viewpoint, she was definitely the most beautiful woman in the world. He lifted his hips a bit into hers.
Iris moaned as Barry worked his fingers. Her head fell back onto the pillow and her eyes shut as his teeth etched into her neck. “Baby..” she whispered before a squeal escaped her lips when he switched positions. Straddling his hips, she sighed before her hips meeting with his. The hairs on the back of her neck stood up at the sound of his voice. “God I love you..” she whispered as she started kissing down his chest. Sitting up a little, she looked at him for a few seconds. She saw a future in his eyes and a full life which was something so rare to the both of them. Iris lifted her hips a little and let out a moan as she sunk onto him slowly moving her hips.
Barry: Barry groaned from the back of his throat the second her lips touched his heated chest. His body was on fire, every touch from her carrying him further over the edge. Barry and Iris were one. A whole. Where he ended, she began. It's always been Barry and Iris from grade school. Barry and Iris in college even though they'd went to two separate schools. There really wasn't a Barry without an Iris. That's what being best friends from childhood did to two people, connected them for eternity. His hands rubbed up and down her thighs in slow motions. He watched her body take him in, watched the exquisite contours of her face contort in pleasure. His stomach quivered, and his lips lifted to bury deeper inside of her. When they were connected like this, they were one. He raised up on his elbows, brushing kisses over the swell of her breast. "God..." he moaned falling back and watching her under heavy lidded lashes. Framing her hips, he watched the repeated motion of their moving bodies.
Iris groaned as her hands grabbed the sheets next to Barry’s head. Being like this with Barry only solidified that their connection was strong. Her eyes shut but found his lips and kissed him. Taking one of his hands, she intertwined their fingers together and let out a sigh. Moving her hips faster on him, she moaned. “B...Bar...I..” she moaned out feeling her walls clench around him.
Barry: Iris was all around him with her smell, her taste, her body. She was everything. He opened his mouth under hers, kissing her back just as hungerly. He craved her, more than any sane man should crave something. A groan passed from his throat into her mouth as she picked up the pace of her hips. The static under his skin was building with each downward thrust of her hips. He released another groan once her body spasmed around his. God, she felt good. He didn't allow her enough time to crawl down from her high. Instead he leaned up and swallowed her moan in another hard kiss before flipping her to her back. The bed rocked with their movements. He wasn't entirely finished with her yet. Sucking on the side of her throat, he started moving inside of her, his pace slow and deliberate - very different from her own. Her body was tight around him, pulling him deeper and deeper until all he could see was Iris. "I love you." he'd never say that enough. No matter how many times it came out of his mouth. It was probably because the words 'I love you' didn't adequately sum up his true emotion. What he felt defied definition. His lips moved back to hers, and he kissed her with the same languid slowness of the grind of their bodies, sweet and slow.
Iris felt small static come off his body and she knew. It wasn’t until he flipped her over that she came to her senses a little. She pouted before her eyes fluttered shut and she let out a small moan. Her head hit the pillow and her breath became uneven as he moved slower. “I love you,” she replied when her eyes finally opened and she looked at him. A hand went through his hair and ran down his cheek as she smiled at him. She kissed him back and groaned at how slow he was moving. Iris felt herself holding on and her legs started to shake a little. Her breathing picked up as he kissed her and she felt herself unravel. A noise escaped her lips and her body took over. Her eyes shut and her head hit the pillow as she arched her back. “Barry...” she whispered out as she laid there trying to catch her breath, eyes still closed.
Barry: More than anything Barry enjoyed watching her when they were like this. The way her lips parted, and her eyebrows knitted. The way he could see the sheer concentration beneath her skin. It was almost as good as being inside of her. He brushed a kiss over her nose and found one of her hands where he proceeded to entwine their fingers and lift it over their heads. Using his other hand, he slipped it between their bodies to the sensitive spot between her legs. He touched her there watching her with every hard rub of his thumb and forefinger. Knowing she was wet for him was what caused his body to shudder with release. He buried himself deeply inside of her one last time and kissed her mouth, a moan humming from the back of his throat. He didn't move once his body became lethargic, only buried his face into her neck. He would move eventually. The last thing he wasn't to do was squish her. "I think we need another shower." he mumbled.
Iris smiled as Barry buried his face into her neck. Her hands went to his hair and she let out a sigh as she got her breathing under control and it evened out. She opened her eyes and chuckled at what he said. "I think you might be right," she chuckled before kissing the side of his head and rolling him off of her so she could sit up. "You're really good at that and I still don't understand," she joked as she leaned over and grabbed her small night robe and wrapping it around herself before settling back on the bed and cuddling up next to Barry. "Feel better?" she asked with a smile.
Barry: Barry fell onto his back but kept her in his sights. "You think?" he teased turning on his side to face her. He watched her dawn her robe and crawl back in beside him. He was quite okay with being naked as the day he was born. Reaching out a hand, he took the end of the belt of her robe and played with the silk material. "You always say that. Now I'm starting to think it's not true." He pulled her closer and tucked his chin on top of her head. "Yes and no. I need food." Her favorite pizza place was probably closed by now but they had leftovers that could scrummage through.
Iris snuggled up next to him and smiled as her head rested on his chest feeling his heart. "It is very true. You're better than other boyfriends I've had sooo," she smirked as she lifted her head to look at him. When he mentioned food she rolled her eyes. "Of course you do," she laughed. "You can go eat if you want, I'm not going anywhere. Besides I'm pretty sure my legs will turn to jello if I get up," she winked at him.
Barry: A small part of him got jealous when she mentioned her ex-boyfriends. He knew it was irrational. He'd dated other people but still it made him jealous. A low 'mhm' sounded from his throat and he kissed her cheek before sitting up. It would take him a second to grab them food. His stomach grumbled, and he shook his head. The amount of food he needed was insane sometimes. "Lucky for you have a speedster boyfriend." He dropped one more brush of lips to her cheek, laughed at her comment and speed on a pair of shorts. It took him maybe a second to put left over pasta in the microwave, and create a cheese platter, grab a bag of pretzel, and have it all laid out at the edge of their bed. His eyebrows lifted as he sat back beside her. "Now I'm official great." he stated popping a cube of cheese into his mouth.
Iris hummed as she looked at him. "I know I'm so lucky," she chuckled before jumping when she realized he had sped away. When he came back she saw all the food on the bed and shook her head. "Always, babe...always," she chuckled as she laid on her stomach and grabbed a cube of cheese putting it in her mouth. She looked at him and smiled before her thumb grazed his face; there was this twinkle in his eyes that she hadn't seen in a while. It was moments like this that she loved seeing normal Barry again. "I love seeing you happy," she finally said giving him a smile as her eyes fluttered a little drifting off to sleep.
