OTHER NOTES → None.
Seeing as it was summer, and he didn't have the priorities of dealing with school, Sebastian had fully planned on spending as much time as he could with Lily. Soon enough, he would be leaving for college, leaving her behind. He had decided that, while he had the opportunity to see her, he would take it. Even if it meant hanging around the Clarington house, which never seemed to be a good idea. Mr. and Mrs. Clarington made it their business to check in on the couple every hour on the hour, even though Sebastian made it very clear that he wasn't interested in anything sexual with Lily. "Not right now." He had stated when the parents asked. What he really meant was not ever, but he would be damned if he was going to say that. None of the Clarington's had to know that what he was doing with Lily probably wasn't going to lead to a sexual relationship. He loved and cared for the girl. Wasn't that enough? He figured that it was enough. At least, it kept them all pacified. All but one.
Lily's older brother, Hunter, had a different opinion. He knew something about Sebastian that even he couldn't bring himself to admit, and he liked to make a very big scene about it. That was the worst part about hanging out with Lily at the Claringtons. He saw Hunter at school and then he had to see him everywhere else, too. Hunter had to make his presence known when he was there with Lily, and to Sebastian, that was one of the more frustrating things that could happen.
So there he lay, hovering slightly over Lily, who had laid flat against the mattress of her bed. They were taking a break from the Adventure Time marathon she insisted that they have because Sebastian was getting bored. Gently he brushed his fingers through her hair, pressing a kiss to her forehead, smiling widely. It wasn't long until he heard the knock at the door. "I still don't understand why they can't trust us alone." He murmured, causing an eyebrow to be raised from her.
