Ghosts of Valentine's Past || Sebastian & Henri (02/14)
Sebastian walked the main street in town, bundled up in his dark blue coat to protect himself from the stubborn cold weather that seemed not ever want to go away. He had some time to spare between classes, and it wasn't like Hell would freeze over if he missed the first couple of minutes of the following one, so he figured it was as good a time as any to pay a visit to Henri, at his brand new restaurant. It wasn't like Lima was big enough to get lost in it, so he knew exactly where he had to go.
More than once he considered the witts of actually going there, of seeing the other man face to face after all those years, after everything that had happened between them. He stopped a couple of times with a mind of turning around in the other direction, thinking what good could come of him seeing Henri at that point. But on the other hand, it didn't do any of the two men any good to keep tiptoeing around things, and it wasn't like Sebastian could hide in the ground, or at school forever. They were bound to see each other at some point, so it was best to have that happening on their own terms.
It was still sometime before noon, and the restaurant was already open, with people working inside, although not open for public just yet. He dusted his shoes at the door once he went inside, and was taking his coat off, when he was met by the hostess, who promptly enough greeted him, then told him they were still closed. "I know. I'm here to see Monsieur Laurant." She said he could find him inside, by the bar, where Sebastian knew he would no doubt be checking on a list to make sure everything ran smoothly, because that was the kind of guy he was, and he doubted that had changed at all.
He left his coat at the door and walked inside, his hands fixing down his dark blue jeans and his collared up white shirt just right. He looked around and chuckled, seeing the obvious decour of the day of love and friendship everywhere. From the corner of his eye he saw Henri standing by the bar, with his back to the door, and he took a deep breath and walked towards him, his hands held behind his back as he did.
"Well, well... There certainly is a lot of love in this room" he said with as soft chuckle, now standing right behind the other man. "Bonjour, Henri."
