Hold Me Like the River Jordan || Rade
Jade had been at Robbie’s all day, forcing him to watch tv with her, letting him show her the stuff he’d been working on for film class— anything to keep her occupied and get her mind off of the gigantic elephant in the room. Contrary to what she’d told Trina, she had no intention of thinking about it or talking to Tori anytime soon; right now, she just wanted to push it as far away as she could, and focus on something, anything else. The only problem was, it was getting late: she’d have to try and go to bed soon, and that had been something that was really hard for her lately. On the rare occasion that she actually managed to drift off, her rest was always disturbed by vivid, haunting nightmares. The only things that helped her relax were either a) spooning with Tori, or b) snuggling with Sophocles, and since she’d left both her fiancée and her stuffed dinosaur back at the apartment, neither of them were viable options for a pre-bedtime snuggle-fest. Which, unfortunately, left just one option.
"Robbie!" Jade bellowed. "Come here. I need you."
