New Year's Eve || Riza & Alena
New Year's Eve was usually a busy time for Alena, what with all of the parties and events which she'd usually have to go to with either her father or her friends. This year, however, was different, and it was a good sort of different. Due to all of the partying that she usually partook in, she would find herself drained at the end of the day and would then proceed to sleep through the first day of the new year.
She pondered this while she set out the muffins, that she'd picked up from work that day, next to the television in her extra room. The room had initially been intended to be a bedroom, though she didn't find the need to have three bedrooms and instead put in a couch and a flat screen and turned it into an entertainment room.
The movie was already set to the menu screen so that all that she'd have to do in order to start the movie was to press play. Since Riza wasn't there yet, Alena sat down on the couch with Rouge, her small maltipoo, and awaited her arrival.
