But there were some who clearly had different plans for the ticking over of the new year. Looking around the still festively decorated terminal, those plans soon became clear.
The general look was something as simple as business trips, the people surrounded her had suits and ties, or tight pencil skirts that their white blouse tucked into. Their brief cases just enough to carry the essentials they needed, and their suitcases even more so.
Erynn was no more out of place at the air port as she was at Novus Academy, with mutants and super humans surrounding her. But for now, she was okay with that.For now, she could rest satisfied, because she didn't have to be extravagant, or wonderful. She didn't have to have abilities, or a story. She didn't need someone to lean on, nor did she have to have someone by her side.
She knew she would always have her family back at home, taking care of each other and themselves. Erynn was never alone, but that was something she would forget from time to time.
As the plane arrived at the airport, the woman's voice spoke over the announcer. The time was twenty minutes off midnight, and the dark girl was getting onto a plane.
