Notes: Brittany goes and gets a fresh air, while a very sick Finn goes and sees what’s been bugging her.
Brittany grabbed her blanket as she wrapped it around herself. She quietly made her way out of her dorm and headed up the stairs to the roof. It was a nice night, perfect for just laying down and letting everything out of her mind. She held her phone close just in case anyone texted her. She laid down on one of the lawn chairs and threw the blanket over herself, looking up at the sky. It had been a long week and right now she wanted to relax. Her stomach grumbled slightly as she groaned, not wanting to sneak out of campus for food right now.
Finn was still miserable like he was at the beginning of the week, but something was bothering Brittany but she wouldnt tell him what it was. Besides the fact that it was 'nothing.' He had known the blonde all of his life, and knew when something was going on with her. He wore his two hoodies, coughed into the crook of his arm and headed towards the stairs to the roof after he made sure that Tanaka was asleep in his dorm. As he climbed the stairs, he raked his brain on what was bothering her, and let out another horrible cough.
Brittany looked over at the stairs as she heard Finn. She frowned while quickly getting up and letting the blanket fall off of her. "Babe, you're not supposed to be here," she said while taking his hands and starting to lead them back downstairs. "We're gonna go back to your dorm," She said and led him back to his building. She gulped while not caring if she got sick or not, she just needed to make sure he was fine.
Finn sniffed as hard as he could and cringed when it hurt his nostrils. He headed towards her, shook his head as he heard her and swallowed some to get the other tickle out of his throat. "Im gonna be fine, no. We're not going back to my dorm." He replied in a horse voice as he followed her back to his building and swallowed another cough. He stopped walking and looked at her. "Until you tell me what's going on, and don't say nothing because I know you."
Brittany turned around as he stopped walking, locking eyes with him as she gulped. She shook her head a little and shrugged. "Baby, please. You look like you're falling apart and just wanna sleep, you need to get into bed. If you want I can bring us breakfast or lunch tomorrow and we can talk, but you're so sick." She said and cupped his cheek that was burning against her palm. "Come on," She whispered.
"It might look like Im falling apart, might just want to sleep with my girlfriend and yeah maybe I should get into bed but there's something going on," Finn whispered, knew that wearing two hoodies wasn't the brightest idea at the moment. He kept his eyes locked with hers, swallowed another cough as he felt her cool hand against his hot cheek and sniffed some more. "What I want is for us to talk."
Brittany cupped her cheeks while looking at him. "We will, but right now you need to rest." She said while taking his hands again. ""I'll be fine for the couple hours that you sleep, you NEED to get to bed. I'll sleep with you, and be big spoon."
Finn felt her cupped his cheeks, and sniffed some more as he listened to her. "I just need to ditch the top hoodie, and I'll be fine." He replied, knowing that if he didnt, she might end up calling his mom. "Though, you being the big spoon, is very tempting."
Brittany shook her head and pecked his lips softly. "You're burning, you gotta sleep. I'm gonna worry about you if you don't." She said and shrugged slightly. "I can if you want me to," She said while smiling a bit.
Finn returned the peck, swallowed once more and heard her. "Of course I want you to worry, in a...I dont know what I was gonna say and alright." He said, as he knew that she was right and nodded a bit. "Yeah, of course."
Brittany nodded slightly while she intertwined their fingers together. She led him back to his dorm, opening the door and switching on the light. Puck was never here anyway, much less Mike if he decided to go along. She walked to his bed and turned around, hooking her fingers in the hem of his hoodie. She gently took both off of him and pulled back the covers.
Finn felt her interwined their fingers together, followed her back to his dorm and coughed into the crook of his arm. His roommates were never here, he had the whole dorm to himself and he wasn't complaining. He shut the door behind them, slid off his shoes and kicked them to the side. He lifted up his arms for her, felt the cold air of the air conditioning hit his stomach and undid his pants before he pulled on his pj pants.
Brittany helped him slip them on and slipped on his shirt as well. She pecked his cheek and let him get into bed first, then following after while wrapping her arms around him as well. "If you need anything don't get out of bed, just wake me up." She said and kissed his hot forehead, running his hands down his back.
Finn smiled softly when he felt her pecked his cheek and gotten into the bed. He gotten comfortable, wrapped his arms around her and rested his head on her chest gently. He felt her arms around him as well, nodded against her chest as he heard her. "Okay," He replied as he closed his eyes when he felt her lips on his forehead.
Brittany held him close to her body. She rubbed his lower back as her lips lingered on his forehead. "You're still handsome, even cute when you're sick." She whispered while knowing he worried about her, but he was the priority to her.
Finn felt her rub his lower back, and swallowed some as he tried to fall asleep while feeling her lips lingered on his forehead. "Thank you, I think its the red nose that adds to that handsome-ness that I have." He whispered back, which was the only time he was able to talk without his voice being hoarse, rubbed her lower back and closed his eyes. "You're still beautiful, and adorable when you're sick too."
Brittany giggled softly as she nodded. "And your sniffles." She said and shrugged. "Psh, I was only sick like once." She said and pecked his forehead again. "Go to sleep baby." She whispered while letting him rest.
Finn chuckled softly as he heard her, and shrugged a bit. "Really?" He asked, as he felt her shrugged a bit. "Once?" He heard her, shrugged a bit. "Sleep's for the weak," He turned around away and coughed into his arm.
Brittany smiled with a nod. "I mean, I totally never get sick." She said and rubbed his back lovingly. "Unfortunately, you are the weak for now."
Finn raised an eyebrow when he heard her and shook his head. "You get sick, you just dont like to admit it." He teased her in a whisper and felt her rub his back. "Me? Weak?"
Brittany smiled while she rubbed her nose against his. "Nuh uh." She replied while nodded. "Mhm, you're tough but not tonight."
Finn smiled when he felt her nose against his, and ran the tip of his nose against hers gently. "Yeah uh," He said and shrugged a bit. "Mhm, I'll give you that. But still."
Brittany smiled while she shook her head. "Sleep." She said softly with a smile.
Finn rested his back down onto her chest, rubbed her lower back and yawned some. “Im not tired though,” He said through his yawn.
Brittany nodded while she heard him. "Yes you are, you're exhausted."
Finn buried his face into the bed some before he snuggled more into her. "Am not." He said, before he yawned again and closed his eyes.
Brittany nodded as she closed her eyes as well. She kept him close, running her fingers through his hair gently.
Finn let his breath even out when he felt her fingers running through his hair and yawned as he let sleep hit him. He moved some, as his cheek rested on her boob, and made sure that the covers were covering them.
Brittany took a deep breath while letting it out and fell asleep along with him.

Notes: Both of them sense something’s up with each other and Brittany reveals something after she kept it a secret.
Brittany could feel the guilt eating her away at keeping this from Finn. She felt like she had reasons, including the ones her teammates told to keep. That it wasn't something they discussed, it didnt matter, and it was to be strictly stuck to with practices. She decided not to go after school today to have some time with Finn but they didnt like the idea considering they expected her to blab about it. It's not like he would care that much anyway, she was just there to answer stuff about cats. She could feel her phone buzz while sitting down at their table. She smiled softly at Finn and tried to hide her worry. "Thank you for taking me out tonight baby. I promise Ill do something just as great." She said while picking up a menu.
Finn kept calm on why Brittany hasnt been around, since he didnt have room to talk. He was like that a month ago when it dealt with not being around when after she found out she was adopted. And finding out who her mom was. Though, something was eating away from him and kinda wanted to know why Brittany had been practicing a lot. He rubbed his face tiredly after planning the surprise for Brittany, on top of it, finding out that Blaine was basically doing the same thing for Kurt. That made the taller boy quicker on his feet if he wanted to let Brittany know that he's there for her. Maybe it could be just him to let her know? He returned the soft smile at Brittany, nodded as he heard her. "You're welcome baby. And I know you will." He replied, taking off of his coat and picked up a menu.
Brittany wanted to shut off her phone especially with the constant buzzing. She couldn't possibly miss a lot in one missed practice. She looked down at her phone, making a quick text while she sighed, hating that she was on her phone right now in front of Finn. She set it aside and looked up with a smile. "Alright, so, what do you wanna get?" She asked while looking it over again. She bit her bottom lip lightly and knew she shouldn't do this. With thinking about her mom, Finn, Cheerios, school work, she hadn't even realized how much stressful things were getting.
Finn saw her texting, swallowed some and glanced back down at his menu. He ran his eyes over the menu and rubbed the back of his neck some. "Im not for sure, what about you?" He looked up with a smile, as he tried to keep his cool and took a drink of his water. He placed his cup onto the table, lightly bit down on his bottom lip as he figured out what he wanted and placed his menu to the side before he looked at Brittany, as he took in her appearance.
Brittany hummed a bit and shrugged. "I dunno, might get buffalo wings and fries. We can share the big serving if you want," She suggested and shrugged. She leaned over and pecked his cheek lightly. "But now that we're here on our little date, how have you been?" She asked softly and set her menu aside, all finished looking at it.
Finn shrugged as he heard her, knowing that the buffalo wings and fries sounds good. "Its up to you babe," He replied and smiled softly when he felt her light peck on his cheek. "Ive been, alright. How have you been?" He asked softly as he watched her set her menu aside and flattened down his hair some.
Brittany shrugged as he asked his question and sighed. "I'm, here." She said with a smile and leaned back against the booth. "Spring break passed by super quick. I can't wait for summer though. Or at least till it turns into bikini weather."
Finn nodded as he heard her, picked up the straw and opened up the wrapper. "Yeah." He replied with a smile, chewed on the straw as he listened to her. "Yeah, it did passed by super quick. I think that everyone is with you on that babe, I mean. Ever since we got back from break, its been a nonstop homework piling kinda of thing." He nodded once more. "Yeah, and its summer. Do you have any plans for summer?"
Brittany let out a small breath. "I know. It sucks." She said quietly and shook her head. "I don't think so, do you?" She asked and felt something lingering in the air, either he was upset or worried but she had no idea why. "Are, you okay? You seem a little off or upset." she asked while nudging his arm a bit. "If it's about Cassie you don't have to like see her again or anything."
Finn nodded as he heard her, walled up the wrapper into a ball and tossed it onto the table. "It does, and with the nonstop booty camp that's coming up for Nationals. Schedule's gonna be more crazy." He wasn't ready for the long hours of someone telling him that he was doing the dance moves wrong, and putting more time into the dance than he already has. "Do you wanna go site seeing or something while we're in New York?" He shook his head as he let out a sigh and rested his head against the booth before he looked over at her. "Nope, but we can do that camping trip that we were talking about a few weeks back? Or something, if you'd like to of course." He knew that she could pick up his emotions, which was kinda hard of hiding his emotions around her, but he knew what she was feeling too. So he couldnt get away with brushing it off. "Yeah, just kinda spacey tonight." He smiled softly when he felt her nudge his arm a bit. "Its, not about Cassie..Well its kinda like Cassie, but not really?"
Brittany watched as he played with the wrapper and slowly nodded. "Yeah.." She said softly and had forgotten about booty camp. The only reason Mr. Schue was easy on her was because she picked up the dance moves quickly. "Yeah baby I'd like that." She said and nodded. She furrowed her brow when he talked about what was wrong and faced him better. "What do you mean, kinda? What's wrong?" She asked.
"Yep, but we need it if we wanting to be Nationals champions. Though, we have great dancers." Finn complimented, pecked her cheek lightly before he flicked the wrapper ahead of him knowing that she didnt need much time getting the dances down, since he knew how fast she was able to pick up the dance moves quickly. He smiled when he glanced over at her, knowing that he had a feeling that he didnt need to plan anything for them. Well, he does for the camping trip but not the New York trip. He let out a sigh before he rubbed his face some more as he heard her and faced her better. "Just, been thinking I guess..I just, dont wanna screw up with her like Ive done with your parents.." He whispered, knowing that there was more to it than the Cassie thing.
Brittany nodded slightly, blushing with a smile as he complimented her. She listened to him while slowly nodding. His whisper indicated that that wasn't everything but she figured if he didnt wanna tell her, then, she couldn't push him to. She frowned a bit while looking down, at least having something to say for now. "Baby don't worry. You'll do great, you have been. My parents are the ones who haven't." She said while lightly pecking his cheek. "And Cassie will LOVE you."
Finn swallowed thickly when he heard her, and smiled softly once more when he felt her peck his cheek. "Yeah, she will. And I know they haven't," He murmured as he looked at the table and gave her forehead a peck after a while. "How about we focus on having a good time? And we can talk more back at the house? Besides, its Thursday, almost the weekend, a..and that means one thing."
Brittany pout as he said they’d wait till the house. She nodded, giving in as she took a sip of her water. She ordered as the waiter came by and handed over their menus.
Finn ordered as he handed over his menu, took a drink of his water and placed it onto the table. “So, how’s practice going?” He asked after a while, feeling the somewhat tension between them.
Brittany nodded a bit at his question. “Okay,” she said and took a deep breath, flattening out her skirt. “How about for you?” She asked while leaning forward on the table.
Finn nodded slightly as he heard her question, chewed on a piece of ice before he answered her. “It’s going okay, learned how to play some more songs on the drums.” He said, as he saw her leaned forward onto the table.
Brittany nodded while she heard him. “That’s awesome.” She said while tracing around the cup holder on the table.
Finn nodded as he heard her, finished the rest of his water and placed the cup onto the table. “I’ll be back,” He said before he gotten out of the booth and headed towards the bathroom.
Brittany watched as he left the table and sighed. She took out her phone and read on what she missed on her texts.
Finn walked into the bathroom, splashed some water onto his face and braced himself against the sink. What was wrong with him? Was it bugging him that much that it was ruining date night? He trusted her the most, so why was he acting like this? Maybe he should bring up that his grandfather was at Regionals? No, he didn’t want to make it about him, this was night their date night and it was supposed to be their time together.
Brittany texted while he was away and set her phone down. She thanked the waiter as he set down the food and waited while she took a deep breath.
Finn dried his hands as he stared at himself in the mirror and let out a breath before he walked back to the table. He waved at a few of the football players and the cheerleaders, and gotten back to the table. Once he was in, he gave Brittany a smile.
Brittany glanced up at Finn as he came back and gave him his plate. She began to take just a few wings and fries, eating peacefully with a drink of water here and there.
Finn swallowed thickly when she gave him his plate and started eating his food. He grabbed the ketchup, poured some onto his plate and placed it to the side. “Ready for Nationals?” He asked softly after a while, glanced up at her and back at his plate.
Brittany nodded a little as she heard him. “Yeah, should be fun.” She said in the same tone and continued to eat. While hearing her phone go off she put it in her bag and sighed a bit, taking another sip of water.
Finn nodded slightly when he heard her and placed his fork onto the plate after a while. “Yeah…” He said softly, raised an eyebrow when she placed her phone into her bag and pulled out his wallet later on once he was full. “Want dessert?”
Brittany shook her head while she heard him. “Nah, not really feeling dessert.” She said while taking out her wallet as well. She paid half and put her bag on, getting up from the table.
Finn paid for the rest, getting up from the table, slipped his wallet back into his pocket and lead them out of the restaurant. He didn't know if it was his weird mood, or the comment of Nationals was making her weird. He hoped that everything would turn around for the better before the night ends, or he didn't know what to do. He slipped his hands into his pockets after itching the back of his neck some and cleared his throat. "You okay?"
Brittany nodded while she heard him with a small smile. "Yeah." She said softly and walked towards his truck. She got in and shut the door behind her, buckling herself in. She looked ahead and out the window, knowing it was mostly because of her that she caused him to be in an upset mood. She leaned on her hand while waiting as they arrived home.
Finn was about to shut the door, but she closed it before he could. He swallowed as he climbed into his truck, started it before he turned on the radio and pulled out of the parking lot. He knew that he had to make everything better, and fast since they both were busy with their own thing. He glanced over at her, looked back ahead and turned onto the street for the house. He killed the engine, climbed out of it and opened up the door for her with a small smile.
Brittany unbuckled herself from the seat and hopped out, thanking him as she led them to the house. She walked inside and set her bag on the table before walking upstairs. She got dressed in her pajamas and let out a soft sigh.
Finn shut the door behind her, told her that she was welcomed and followed her inside of the house. He shrugged off his coat, looked down at Duke, gave him a small smile and slipped off his shoes. He headed to the bedroom, walked in the room, and changed into his pjs as he tried to think of what to say instead of it coming it out insane.
Brittany crawled into bed as she pulled the covers over herself. She closed her eyes and waited for Finn to get into bed so she could snuggle into him. Since he wasn't talking she guessed he didn't want to tell her anymore. She let it be and decided not to bother him.
Finn climbed into the bed and laid against the headboard after he gotten situated. "Can, we talk?" He asked softly, glancing down at her when he saw her eyes closed and gulped some. He knew if he didnt talk about this, it would create more problems for them.
Brittany rested her head on his lap just as she heard him. She nodded a bit while sitting up and looked over at him. "What did you wanna talk about?" she asked while biting her bottom lip.
Finn brushed some of her hair out of her face, lightly bit down on his bottom lip and sitting up some as well before he rubbed his face some as he heard her. "What's been going on?" He asked, glanced over at
Brittany furrowed her brow a bit as she heard him. "What..what do you mean?" She asked softly, figuring it had to deal with why she was texting and skipping out on time together.
Finn took a deep breath and let it out as he heard her question. "The whole texting at dinner, being busy all the time, and skipping out on time together. I get that we dont have to be attached to the hip all the time, and I do," He replied as he tried to form the words right without starting an argument with her.
Brittany gulped as she rubbed the back of her neck a bit. "What..so what are you saying?" She asked while looking up at him.
"What Im saying is, what's going on where I don't really see you all that much anymore?" Finn asked, as he looked over at her and swallowed some as he felt his heart beat against his chest some.
Brittany part her lips while she heard him. "Nothing.." She whispered while picking at her blanket.
Finn looked at her and raised an eyebrow. "B..." He whispered as he saw her picking at her blanket.
Brittany gulped as she cleared her throat. She mumbled the club name quietly before taking a deep breath.
Finn raised an eyebrow as he leaned in closer to hear her again. "What?" He asked softly, and he heard her take a deep breath. "I didnt hear you B."
Brittany cleared her throat again as she sighed. "I'm in.." She said while mumbling her cub name.
Finn laid down in front of her and raised an eyebrow when he tried to hear again. "I still didnt hear you."
Brittany sighed heavily as she nodded a little. "I'm in the Brainiacs. It's, a club where you compete in smart competitions and stuff." She said with a shrug.
Finn nodded slowly as he heard her, kept an eyebrow raised as he took in the information. He didnt know why she would keep this a secret and hide it from him. "Wait, so Im the only one who knows that you're in the Brainiacs besides the ones who are also in the club? Why you were keeping it a secret?"
Brittany nodded while she heard him and shrugged. "Because one, glee and Cheerios and football is the only clubs or sports or you guys all care about, we're always worried about the next competition that even if you guys knew, who'd go to the competitions? We have filled seats when glee performs but there's barely people there when we compete. So it didn't seem to matter much." She said with a shrug.
Finn let out a sigh as he heard her and laid onto the back as he listened to her more. "I can name one person who would be there to support you and the Brainiacs. Who would be in the stands, rooting for you." He replied as he looked over at her, lightly bit down on his bottom lip as he knew that she was passionate about this, and hated that he didn't know or even shown that he had cared for the club but that was gonna change now. "It matters now, because you told me."
Brittany raised an eyebrow a bit as she shrugged. "One of our teachers doesn't count." She murmured while laying down as she snuggled up to his side. "I'm sorry for not telling you, it just didn't seem to matter much."
“I was talking about me B," Finn replied as he ignored the pain in his heart and he felt her snuggled up to his side. He swallowed before he looked at the ceiling and looked down at her. "It when it comes to you, it does matter."
Brittany looked up at him as she smiled a bit. "Babe..you're, the Quarterback, the glee club leader, and you're stressed out with your own things. I'm fine." She whispered and shook her head. "Not really." She said and closed her eyes. She rested her head on his shoulder.
Finn pulled away some when he heard her and looked at her. "Im not the glee club leader anymore, yeah Ive been busy getting in shape for football, but thats not till August. So what? So what if Im stressed out with my own things, I will always be there supporting you, always." He replied back, swallowed thickly and shook his head. "It does matter babe, its something that you enjoy."
Brittany took a deep breath while she laid on her back as well. "I'm not talking about the actual title. I'm just saying, people depend on you and you know it. With all this stuff about Cassie, your own family, everything, I can't, put more on you." She said and ran her hands through her hair.
"I want you to put more on me, my family, is doing their own thing. They are not the one who Im worried about, the one who Im in relationship with. The one whom Im in love with." Finn pointed out and shook his head. "The stuff about Cassie, I can handle, on top of being there for you."
Brittany stayed quiet as she shrugged slightly. She knew bringing this up either way would cause an argument. She turned on her side while closing her eyes and let out a shaky breath. "Okay, I'm sorry."
"We're not done talking Babe." Finn pointed out as he walked on the other side and looked at her.
Brittany sat up as she turned on the lamp and looked up at him. "Okay," She said quietly and bit her bottom lip lightly.
Finn sat down next to her and looked over at her, really looked at her. "I will always worry about you, care for you, be there for you. You are not putting anything on me; this is what a relationship is about." He interlaced their hands together and looked at her. "I am not going anywhere; I am here to protect you from the storm, to take the weight off of your shoulders."
Brittany kept eye contact as he spoke, his words getting to her as she gave his hands soft squeezes. She in a way, missed him. With all the hassle of three clubs and stuff with her parents, she missed the person who made her forget about it all. "Thank you." She said softly and nodded. "I'm sorry."
Finn swallowed thickly when he heard her, returned the soft squeezes and looked at her. He had missed her, he really did. "You dont have to thank me." He replied softly and nodded as he listened to her. "Okay."
Brittany shrugged a bit. She ended up having to apologize but ignored it anyway. She looked down and let out a small breath. "Can we sleep?" She whispered while rubbing her eyes.
"Im sorry for ignoring your apologize, Im sorry for being a douche-bag and I accept your apologize." Finn replied as he watched her rubbed her eyes and hugged her gently. "You're welcome, and I dunno, wanna tell me about the club?"
Brittany shook her head at his words while she snuggled into to his hold. "You didn't, it's fine," She whispered and rested her head on his chest. "The club that caused us to fight?" She murmured while regretting even joining in the first place.
Finn felt her snuggled into his hold and kissed her head. "Yeah, I did and its not fine. It was dick move on my part.." He whispered and felt her head on his chest, raised an eyebrow when he heard her. "Baby, that was an argument. And yes the club, because I wanna know about it and hear you talk about it." He knew that he was going to be there for her a hundred percent.
Brittany shook her head as she shrugged. "It's fine. Besides, why would you forgive me." She whispered and shrugged. "That I started. Besides, I've been causing so much stress to our relationship so I should stop." She said quietly and relaxed in his hold.
Finn felt her shake his head against him and kissed her head once more. "Its not fine, and do you want me to start listing things off on why I should forgive you? 'Cause I have a long list of why I should forgive you and one thing is that, I love you, Im always going to forgive you." He murmured against her head and felt her relaxed in his hold. "You didnt start it babe, and you haven't been causing so much stress to our relationship, and no. You shouldnt stop, if you enjoy something, then dont stop it."
Brittany shook her head and rubbed her eyes again. "No it's okay." She said while shrugging a bit. "Yes I have you just don't wanna say it." She shrugged slightly and let out a small breath. "Forget about me, how are you?"
"Its not okay Brittany," Finn replied as he felt her rubbed her eyes, knowing that she was trying not to cry. "Would I ever lie to you? Have I ever lied to you?" He questioned when he felt her shrugged slightly. "Im, alright, feeling like a complete asshole."
Brittany shook her head while listening. "Yes it is." She said and gulped. "Well no." She said and looked up at him. "You're not an asshole." She said while looking at him. "This got bigger than it was supposed to."
Finn shook his head against the pillow. "Its not," He replied and raised an eyebrow at her answer. "Exactly, so you didnt start it." He replied, looked down at her and shrugged a bit. "I kinda pulled a dick move though babe," He replied as he heard her. "Yeah it did. I think its because both of us were so stressed from school,." He whispered, brushed some of her out of her face. "But look at it this way. We're still together, we're not sleeping in separate rooms, we still love each other, we're gonna be stronger from this. And that, Im still holding you."
Brittany sighed while she nodded slightly, giving in. "No you didn't. It's fine." She said while shaking her head. "No, it was because I kept it from you." She said while sighing. "Of course I still love you. Right now I just feel bad for being in the club. I'll drop it after the last competition." She said softly.
Finn swallowed some as he heard her. "Yeah I did and its not fine," He replied as he felt her shake her head against his chest. "You had your reasons baby, and its okay. I forgive you for keeping it from me." He replied as he heard her sigh and rubbed her back, pecked her head. "I know you do and you shouldnt feel bad, and don't B. Don't drop it after the last competition."
Brittany nodded while she looked up at him. "It is fine, babe. I'm the one who screwed up." She said and sighed. "Yeah but I still feel bad about it. And I am, I'm only there to answer questions about cats so it's not a big deal." She said quietly with a small frown.
Finn shook his head as he cupped her cheek gently. "It's not fine, and I screwed up too." He said softly and shook his head. "You shouldn't though, and baby," He said softly when he saw her small frown.
Brittany shrugged slightly. "It is fine honey." She said and pecked his lips. "I already decided honey. Besides, no one ever goes and I know you say you will but I can't take up more of your schedule." She said and smiled a bit.
Finn shook his head when he heard her. "It's not fine," He replied and returned the peck. He lightly bit down on his bottom lip as he listened to her, ran a hand over his face when he listened to her. "Exactly, I will go. And I dont care if you take up more of my schedule, I want you too. I really do." He begged, knowing that he had to put that performance together soon or it wasn't going to happen. "How about, we go away for the weekend? Just me a..and you?" He was thinking really quick on his feet and had to look up some venues where they could go. Or get in touch with his cousin Like, and fast.
Brittany cupped both his cheeks while looking at him. "It's fine. If anything I deserved it." She said while pecking his lips once more. "I know I know, and I appreciate it but it's fine, we won't have to worry about it anymore." She said while tugging at his hand to wrap around her waist as she laid down. "Yeah? That sounds fun baby. I'd be up for that." She said with a smile and turned off the lamp.
Finn clenched his jaw when he felt her cupped his cheeks and swallowed some as he unclenched. "No you don't..." He whispered gently when he looked at her and returned the peck. He felt her tugged on his arm, wrapped his arm around her waist and covered them up. "Yeah, alright. It's a date baby." He replied with a soft smile and kissed her forehead.
Brittany snuggled into his body while she sighed. She closed her eyes and rested her head on his chest. "I can't wait then honey." She said while leaning up and left a light peck on his lips.
Finn felt her snuggled into his body, caressed the side of her body. He kissed her head, before he returned the light peck on his lips. "I can't wait either beautiful," He replied as he closed his eyes and made a mental note that he would keep on making it up to Brittany.
Brittany blushed lightly with a smile, intertwining their legs together. She let herself relax in his hold before peacefully falling back asleep.
Finn felt her intertwined their legs together, pressed a kiss against her head and closed his eyes. He let himself fall asleep and relaxed after a while with the girl he loves in his arms.
Day -- she lost count. They were all lumping into one quiet blur. And however much as silence was welcomed from time to time, right now all she wanted to do was stand up and scream. In actual reality, the redhead had only been left to her own devices less than a week ago, but it felt like ages. She missed her family. Determined to pull herself out of her own thought patterns, Brittany drug herself into the closet and threw on something simple, sighing as she stared at one of her wife's shirts. It was a favorite one of hers, but it wouldn't even remotely fit if she tried. What to do? What to do? It seemed as though she was going to have to leave the condo, if she wanted to actually get out of her head. There wasn't anything scary going on in there today, but she'd rather not chance it. "AH HA!" Her voice startled even herself as she all but cut the silence unexpectedly. If there was one person in the condos that could somewhat relate to what she was going through, it was Gaga -- Stefani, if you will. The two had bonded some time ago over unwanted mental illnesses and the strive to keep pushing on.
Today was a day to push on. With a smile plastered across her face at the thought of finally meeting the woman's little one, Brittany made herself 'public presentable' and shuffled out of the apartment toward her fellow short one's condo. Stopping short at her door, she rapped upon it lightly before pushing a bunch of buttons on the pad to the side of it. Perhaps she should have actually told the other woman she was coming, but hindsight was 20/20 on that one. She ran a finger through her hair as she waited patiently for Stefani to answer. What could they do? Was she hungry? The ginger certainly was. Maybe they could pack up Lennon and grab a bite -- or go shopping. Ooh, shopping was definitely something she would be okay with. Blue eyes fell to her feet as she weighed in whether or not the shoes she had on would be suitable or not to make a trek around town. She'd manage. Today was about an adventure, albeit not all too adventurous with a bump and a baby in tow. They'd figure something out. The world was their oyster, right?
