" Sounds like idle gossip! "

As Widowmaker sat perched upon the roof of a tall building in the heart of Paris, rustling chains could be heard from above. It seemed that the ‘sewer rat’ Junkrat had caught sight of the deadly sniper on the run back from his most recent robbery. Having escaped out of the building’s top floor window, the Junker decided to have some fun and meddle with the woman. Junkrat had taken a spare chain for his rip tire, and used it as a rope to slide down on upside down, aiming it so as he would come face to face with the dark-haired woman. Sliding down the chain, Junkrat finally came face to face with Widowmaker, and as quick as lightning he leant forward to press his lips against Widow’s, holding the kiss for a while before he parted his lips from her’s to reveal a mischievous grin upon his thin features. “Surprise~ Maintenant, je suis l'araignée~” the demolitionist spoke with a shrill giggle as his large eyes gazed into the woman’s yellow eyes.
Who the fuck?
The rather relaxing evening off was suddenly wrenched from Widowmaker as her space was assaulted by the most repulsive creature she had ever laid eyes on.
She stared blankly in shock for a solid ten seconds before recognition hit her.
Junkrat.
He had been on their list for possible recruits, and it was a perfect mystery to her how he had somehow found her. He was even more unsettling in real life.
“Disgusting...”
Picking up her rifle, she moved to hit him in the face with the butt of it.
I've been thinking for a long while. For what purpose was I born into this world? Whenever I resolved one question, another would arise in its place. I sought the beginning, I sought the end, I've just been walking and walking, thinking all the while. Perhaps nothing will change, no matter how far I go.
Ryoko, Parasyte -the maxim- 1x18 “More than Human”
Most of Parasyte was average and underwhelming to me, but I was pleasantly surprised by the last few episodes’ depth. I didn’t think they’d “go there,” and I’m happy they did. I especially loved Shinichi’s speech in the last episode.
— table manners, teddy & dani
Hands jammed into the pockets of her dress, Dani tried to walk with purpose after her father's larger figure — but her back has been hurting and she's hunched over again, staring at the dusty first-rate Italian carpeting. On their way to the reserved table for four, her father turned around and grit his teeth. A soft sigh and narrowed eyes. Dani stared back, albeit not a defiant one. It's a silent sort of warning: Stand up straighter, Dani. Walk a little faster, Dani. Jin wouldn't embarrass me like that, Dani. It's a shame, she knew, that her brother wasn't able to make it tonight. It's a shame, she knew, that her father would have to present a soured investment of a child to a long-time rival that he was eager to one-up. She parted her lips slightly to tell him that for God's sake, she didn't want to be here either, didn't want to be forced to stare at the face of someone she hated while shoving caviar down her throat. But her father was busy, expression already shifted to one of pure professionalism— their dinner guests had arrived. He stood up, so Dani rooted herself by his side and offered a bow to the elegantly dressed newcomers. "Mr. Yoon," she said instead of asking how he'd been. A practiced smile met her lips. And it's faint, distant, pushed a little too far as her gaze landed on the younger male who had just came in after the elder. "Teddy," she adds instead of asking how long they're planning to stay here. "It's good to see you." Her smile faltered for a second. She's getting worse at acting.
