True Colours || Vesper & Fox
Dew clung to the air in the training ground and although Fox despised the morning she much preferred to be out here than stuck in classes, in particular she was avoiding her literature class. Much preferring to push herself physically than die of boredom with old dusty pages, let alone that her teacher was an old fart who droned on and on with his stupid ass monotone voice. The smoke fae had pulled and teased the shadows from the space around her until there was a great mess of darkness pulsing in front of her. Lips curving into a dark smirk Fox slowly lifted her hands above her the shadows following the path set out for them by their master, twisting and twirling like midnight ribbons. Then without a hand gesture the shadows spiralled with speed down towards the ground spilling over Fox like wind rushing through her hair.
With her hand’s outstretched Fox relished in the adrenaline that was pumping through her body, it was almost as good as that slight high of intoxication but nonetheless extremely different. As quick as the display had started the smoke fae snapped her fingers and the shadows rolled like silk back to the cracks in the rocks. As a dark chuckle escaped her lips a slight puff of smoke trailed soon after Fox couldn’t quite believe that despite the exuberant flex of power there was no headache lingering in her temples and it felt fucking amazing. She spun on her towering heels a smirk still curving her lips but she stopped dead still as the fae noticed a figure, “who the fuck are you?”
