wandering in the woods → {xavier/tara}
When Tara had finished talking to Xavier, she made sure to dress in more appropriate clothing, a pair of shorts and a tank top to counter the heat. She tied up her tennis shoes, not really caring that they weren't fit to use for hiking, she used them anyway. Tara got a drawstring backpack and filled it with water bottles and granola bars, knowing that at one point, she was gonna get hungry or thirsty and that she was gonna need her food. She brought a twenty along with her, just in case, even though there was no reason to, but she always found that it was always better to be safe. With everything needed packed and ready, Tara headed out of her room, sticking her key card in her back pocket and tying her hair up on her way down. She looked up the address to the art shop on her phone and asked for some directions from the front desk people and finally headed her way.
Even with all the directions she got, Tara managed to lose her way and forget how to get there. She wandered around, hoping for the best and that Xavier wasn't already there, she knew she'd never hear the end of it if she kept him waiting there. She was still surprised that he was up for hiking with her, even people who were really close to her often turned down her invite to go wander in forests and all. Xavier had turned out to be a nice person, which surprised her, she thought that he hated her or something but obviously opinions changed. She was still lost in her thoughts when she bumped into a shelf of mason jars, one at the top shelf fell but luckily, Tara managed to catch it with her hands before it could shatter on the ground. She fixed it and looked up, realizing that she finally found the art shop. Xavier stood nearby, looking in the other direction so she approached him, tapping his shoulder. "Been waiting long?"
