“It’s sweet that you think I have that power, but I was thinking that would be your job,” he said. “Look there are some things about me that I’m better off showing you than telling you. So, are you in? I need to know that first and then I’ll make it happen.”

“But I wasn’t the one who is afraid to be a bottom.” He chuckled. “We need to work on your fear of being a bottom first and then I can also see how cute you can be.”

“Can I be honest? I don’t mind bottoming, but I don’t like doing it first. I don’t want people putting me in that box. I don’t want to seem like some pushover weakling that can be told what to do. You’re cute and I like you a lot so I’m not saying we can’t do that. But I don’t want anyone thinking I’m weak or below them.” 

He chuckled and ran a hand through his hair. “I know that all seems a bit much but I’d like to think I can trust you to not be an ass about it, right?”

Yuri softly chuckled at the response. “As long as you are single for me.. I don’t care what you do and who you do other times.”

Oberon smiled. “Sounds like we’ll be seeing a lot of each other then. I’m looking forward to it. Hope you don’t mind if I’m more of a home-body for dates. I like staying in because I don’t have to keep my hands to myself and we save money.”

“Oh what kind of plants are those?” He looked curiously over Oberon’s shoulder. “I would love some tea and do you want me to help with the plants?”

“Ahh these are just succulents,” Ardyn said. “They don’t need to be watered often but the air inside the mansion is so dry that I wanted to make sure they were doing okay.” He looked over at the flowers, trying to ignore the warmth creeping up his cheeks. He had wished he was doing something more intensive so he could focus on something else but the warmth of Yuri’s embrace. 

“So um...did you have a good week?”

“You can blame it on my friends. They have taught me well to sneak into places.” He chuckled and then hugged Oberon’s middle. “Please tell me you are free for next hour or so?”

Oberon nodded. “Yeah, I’m just tending to my plants right now, but I don’t have anything planned for the day. Would you like some tea or something?”

“I’m in an open relationship with my boo Ardyn, so technically yes or no depending on your stance on polyamory I suppose. I’d like to think that for you, I am very, very single.”

“are being shy?” He grinned while wrapping his arms around Noctis from behind. “Why can’t I be the daddy? Let me be the daddy once and you won’t go back.”

“Not likely, but I appreciate the hustle,” he said with a grin. He looked back and winked at him, patting his hands before turning to face him. “Let’s just see where things go. I feel that if you’re persistent enough we might be able to make an arrangement.”
