was it stupid for them to do this? to actually risk being caught all because they wanted to see how they looked? probably. at least jie had been wise enough to sneak over later into the night when it was less likely for anyone to be around the dance block anyway. but the doors didn’t lock, and they that they needed to be quick.
what was jie doing in the studio at that time though? well, it was easily described they supposed by the simple act of trying on skirts they’d bought a while ago but hadn’t had the courage yet to really attempt to wear.. it wasn’t like jie really had anywhere to wear them either anyway-- sure, nat had seem them in them, even helped them a lot with being comfortable.. but it still didn’t mean they had anywhere to wear them besides the dorm; and even that was a rarity. but why the dance studio? well.. because the mirrors were actually big enough, and the lights bright enough, for jie to really judge how they looked, and the conclusion they were coming to was that the skirts were cute and they’d made a good decision. only apparently too distracted by their reflection, jie failed to actually hear the door clique.
