To catch a thief
continued from here, for @tau-mp
"Oh it's an adventure alright." Hecate smirked, somewhat amused at the fact that someone had the nerve to take something from hers and at the sight of an angry Tau. Their connection came up quite casually, as he was indeed good at his job and Hecate was a faithful client of his talents. Books on witchcraft aren't exactly new and Hecate wasn't exactly patient to restore paper. "And I have no issue with conflict, when necessary."
Even though she was in high spirits, his next words made her pout slightly. "I have no idea, the place is so crowded, could've been anyone." Of course she could simply resort to her witchcraft, but wasting ingredients on a piece of trash like a wallet thief felt rather wrong. But wouldn't hurt to get a little help nonetheless.
With a swift hand movement, Hecate mumbled a spell of illusion that would take the shape of a mist, tracing down the path the stolen item took. "Care to join me on this chase?"
