The front door swings open and Echo's legs almost give out from underneath her, the scream she felt beginning to bubble up inside of her getting caught in her throat.
"What happened to you? Who did this?" She asked, calling for Bear as she stepped out to support one side of her brother (who is a good foot and two inches taller than her, might I add), throwing his left arm around her shoulder as she began to walk inside. Bear soon came loping outside to support his right, a bit of blood from Ace's nose spattering against his shirt as he did so.
