bumper fail

Yixing’s late. Late for an appointment with an important CEO of an important thing. The details don’t really matter. What matters is that he’s late. And it’s not his fault, it’s the fault of the woman inside the building he just came out of who just wouldn’t stop talking despite him telling her he had somewhere to be, and his politeness not allowing him to just walk out on her. So now that he’s finally outside, he wants to hurry and leave.
There’s only one problem with that scenario, which is that his hurry to leave causes him to back up his car a little too far before pulling out of his parking spot, right into someone else’s front. He instantly turns off his engine and gets out of the car. He would apologise profusely but there’s no one actually in the car - because it’s parked, duh - so he leans in to check the damage.
And indeed. He’s left a scratch on the beautiful car’s front bumper, right beneath the headlight. Just what he needed added to his day, of course. Looking around frantically, he of course isn’t lucky enough to find the owner of the car walking up to him. Letting out a muffled Mandarin curse, he quickly moves back to his own car, getting the notebook out of his glove department and scribbling a note down on it.
It’s two steps back to the car he just hit, where he tucks the paper beneath the windshield wiper, and then he’s getting back into his own car to drive right out of there, leaving behind simply the note on the stranger’s car.
'I accidentally bumped your car and made a scratch at the front right beneath your light, I am so very very sorry. Please text/call me and I will be more than happy to reimburse you for the damage. I would've stayed to wait for you but I have an urgent appointment. I am truly very sorry! I hope you'll still have a wonderful day! -phone number here-’
