Catching Up || J.R. x Dante
Jameson-Reece wasn’t one to remember even the most influential people in his childhood. He pretty much just remembered his parents being there for him until the divorce—well, his parents and Dante. His admiration for Dante knew no bounds. He’d been head over heels for the man since he was seven, nearly worshipping the ground he walked on when he was a child. Jameson absolutely hated those stupid fucking dinners his dad would drag him and his mother to. He could remember one of the first ones, meeting Dante’s parents and their beautiful son for the first time. Jameson’s eyes lit up like wildfire at the sight of him but the rest of him stayed quiet and shy, hiding behind his father’s leg as he starred from afar. But Dante was always so welcoming and kind to him, little Jameson was scared but still wanted to be around him. He didn’t know if he wanted to be Dante or if he wanted to have Dante hold his hand. Either way, growing up with him was wonderful. Dante could always ease his pain and wipe away his tears as if he were Jameson’s guardian angel.
Jameson stood outside of Dante’s door, his breath nervous and shallow. He chewed at the inside of his cheek as he glanced down to the groceries in his hands. Why was he so utterly terrified? Something about not seeing the love of his life for years and now he was making dinner with him and hopefully other things would ensue afterwards. He slowly set down the bag and sighed before knocking on Dante’s door and waiting for an answer, his muscles tensed up.”Just be cool...” he whispered to himself as he watched the door open. “H-Hi, Dante!”
