Full Moon || Keir & Myles
Shivering, Keir stretched his limbs. A satisfactory smile was plastered on his face, and he made his way to the grocery store. He'd made sure not to run too long. Picking up enough beer and food for him to carry, Keir made his way to Myles' place. The fried chicken smelled incredible and his stomach growled hungrily. Humming along the way, he quickened his steps. Food didn't taste good cold, even if beer did. Especially fried chicken. Keir frowned for a moment, imaging the soggy exterior from all the steam. Checking the bag once again, he nodded to himself. He had made sure to purchase ketchup as well, doubting the vampire had any such items in his fridge.
After a while, Keir realized he must've had sped up considerably, for he made his way to Myles' place in what seemed like record time. In the back of his mind, Keir worried he might bite him, but he pushed the thoughts away. No biting, he reminded himself. It was a mistake both of them couldn't afford, but Keir was relieved that Myles was no longer pushing him away. Smiling quietly to himself, he knocked on the door and waited for the other to answer. Glancing up at the moon, he wondered for a moment if he had not run long enough or if he was late.
Pursing his lips, it felt nerve wracking waiting for the door to be opened. Keir fidgeted and shifted his weight. The bags weren't heavy, but he was anxious to be inside. As much as he liked the outdoors, he'd had enough of it for one day. For a moment, his thoughts shifted to Nicky. Regardless of everything, they would always be family. Nothing could change that. It didn't matter if he belonged to Dante's pack and Nicky with his own. They would always be brothers before anything else. It seemed odd to think they could be family and not pack, but perhaps in the future, he might make his way back home to Nicky and pack. More than anyone, he loved his brother.
