phoenix,
ordinarily, wonwoo didn’t get asked to do jobs like these. the man that acted so strongly and blinding on anger and hatred wasn’t always the best to watch a target, not if they weren’t planning of finding the best way of making the punishment count, but wonwoo can’t really afford to say no. besides, this could be somewhat fun sometimes. even if he did have to play nice with others he’d rather steer clear of, it was a little hitch in his usual routine. something new and unexpected was always good for keeping you sharp.
the target, a young woman — older than him, of course, but not by much — was believed to be a nuisance to vanguard’s operations. she didn’t work alone, from what they knew, so their task was simple. scout. follow her moves, act inconspicuous. find dirt. drag her down, and at the end of it all? wonwoo would do the honours of making it clear why trying to take on vanguard was a shitty idea.
so here he was. in a bank, on a friday afternoon. the sun was shining outside, or at least fairly so for early april. he could be outside (or looking at it from the comfort of his apartment, rather), but instead he was here, standing at an corner, 'on his phone’ to his ‘bored girlfriend’. at least, he was for a while.
