S. Would you rather be the only person in the world that can read minds or have everyone else in the world be able to read minds except for your own?
This is really hard to decide. I was leaning towards being able to read everyone’s minds, but then I changed my mind. If everyone could read minds but my own, people would have to spend time getting to know me instead of just dismissing, or liking me based on what I’m thinking the moment I meet them. And, since I won’t be able to read minds either, I’d have to get to know people too. I'd have to put in effort, as do others. I think that would be more fulfilling than just reading people’s minds. Plus, it’s nice to be able to have private thoughts.
T. If everyone in the world would automatically only know one language, which language would you choose? If I’d actually have to make this decision, I’d probably feel obliged to study as many languages and cultures as I possibly could, in order to decide which one I like the most. For now, I think I’d just go for a language that is the least developed, or just has the least amount of words. That way, it can evolve and grow the most. I enjoy the fact that there are different cultures and people have different words for the same thing in other dialects. So with a language that does not exist of many words yet, that would be bound to happen. And it gives us the chance to come up with lots of new and exciting words, so it will kind of become a new language really.
X. You can eliminate one of your five senses to substantially strengthen the others, which one and would you do it? I think I would eliminate the sense of smell. I have a friend who can’t smell anything, and she doesn’t seem to miss anything. Of course your smell would usually affect your taste, but in this case, my sense of taste would be strengthened anyway, so it would stay the same, or still be better than when I could smell. Especially having better hearing and sight would be awesome, I think. Thanks for asking! :)
