traded jacks for his fucking heart, but i’m not holding this one against her at all, because cmon man, jacks was a fucking idiot for that. what did he think would happen.

was going to try and make jacks love her w his heart (wound up getting punched in the face and knocked out instead, and Yes i get genuinely for real upset when i think about this, because that’s a teenager that we just beat up and cheered about. what the hell is wrong with fans, im genuinely so disgusted)

pretended to be evangeline by perfectly mimicking her voice after a tree went up in flames, and confused jacks for like 3 minutes. that’s too long. also how did she know how to mimic eva like that. okay…

things she can do that would actually be evil and a great use of her hobbies:

OKAY BUT ALSO i’ve been thinking of her going to a themed amusement park… she’d get so into dressing up to be a specific character (think something like disneybound… yk those disney chara inspired outfits?? yeah, like that..) and she’s go to all their cute cafés and have fun chatting w chrysi and azure and emery in line and she’d make sure luc was adequately covered from the sun… oh my god, she’d have such a good day 😭 she’d take so many photos and little vids and scroll through months later in bed and smile. can we all be serious abt this, she’s so sweet… and also a bitch. yeah. what’s wrong w that

OKAY so i’ve been playing w an au where chrysi IS the adoptive older sister to scarlett & tella, because gavriel decided to adopt her when paloma ran off w scarlett. he needed a half-star heir, and the daughter of the star he once wanted for himself (aria) is good enough!!!

but once he found scarlett, he decided to, uh. get her back and raise her properly 😇 (unethical manipulation/borderline kidnapping). unfortunately, scarlett refused to come unless tella came along too, so now gavriel has two daughters he doesn’t want + his ACTUAL heir. god DAMN IT.

^^^ this is the setup for multiple aus, wherein gavriel tries to get rid of chrysi via marrying her off to castor—in return, asking for the valors to stop trying to kill him/stars in general, please & thank you!!—or he’ll curse her into oblivion, or he’ll jst kill her dead 🤗 he normally tries to keep his murder plans secret though, since chrysi’s a sweetheart among fates…. bad idea to piss off the assassin, i’ll tell you what!! you hurt his sister and he’ll end you in every timeline possible 😇

anyway, the point i meant to get at is (in a rare au where chrysijacks childhood friends to lovers isn’t a thing…? or maybe i’ll keep it, jst to make jacks’s fuck up a thousand times worse), because all three of them are semi-sisters, jacks starts flirting w chrysi while mistakenly believing her to be tella, via a comedy of errors. (jacks and castor hang out session where they’re both talking abt how much they love chrysi, but jacks thinks he’s talking abt tella the whole time 💀 man, it’s going to be awkward when they figure out the truth). chrysi does not KNOW THIS until jacks one day goes, “i don’t envy your older sister. she’s pretty enough, but i could never be with her when she’s gavriel’s least favorite and has the worst responsibilities.” chrysi is NOT happy abt this, but no, please, go on abt my older sister’s faults <- said through a smile with gritted teeth.

god. thinking abt daeshim adopting an older brother persona around chrysi before he becomes a fate, then clinging to it after he becomes a fate…. she is the one bright spot in gavriel’s pantheon and daeshim adores her for it (in that distant way of immortals, since he can no longer love properly).

but then he’s sent back in time by gavriel for the first time and he finds… chrysi. again. she’s younger, so maybe he jst accidentally went back in time in this current timeline. it’s confusing, but he’s sweet to her, and she’s incredibly kind back.

he returns and everything’s normal at home. he asks chrysi if she’d ever met him before. she looks at him blankly.

he goes back in time again. meeting chrysi in that timeline is not so pleasant. he comes back and asks chrysi if they’ve ever met before, seriously. she’s jst as adamant when she says she met all the fates for the first time when her sister dropped her off on gavriel’s doorstep.

daeshim goes back and forward over and over and over again. different timelines. different worlds.

chrysi’s always there. always, always, always. and daeshim begins to understand that his little sister has something wrong with her. sometimes, in these other worlds, she knows him, but more importantly, she seems to think he’s lost his mind. he can’t fathom why. she cares abt him either way.

finally, he arrives in a timeline where chrysi dies. it was bound to happen. it’s a tragedy, daeshim knows that many deaths are. he hates that he’s lost even this version of chrysi, but there’s still the chrysi at home. (he tells himself this, but it doesn’t ease the pain, not entirely.)

then he goes forward in time, as requested by gavriel.

chrysi is alive again.

daeshim knows that cannot be. that is not right. all those different timelines had different chrysis, sure, but the same timeline having two?

eventually, he finds out about the reincarnation curse. that is when his mind finally begins to crack under the pressure of knowing all the different timelines. not because of the variation, but rather because he loses chrysi. he loses chrysi every single time, and he can’t stop it, and it breaks his heart because he has a heart to break now, because he cares enough to revoke immortality, and he knows that his immortality has been the only thing protecting him from the madness of traveling through time and universes, and he can’t save her no matter how much he wants to.

what’s your tale of woe? tella asks, on chrysi’s 798th life.
