HI PINK, YES, THANK YOU FOR ASKING. I have been thinking A LOT about soft, everyday ghouls. The way they co-exist on normal days at the Abbey. Including but not limited to sex. Like how Aether helps Mountain out in the greenhouse a lot. Or how Dew and Cumulus like to fold laundry together. And how Cirrus and Aurora and Swiss jam together all the time. And how Sunshine and Aeon play N64 in the common room in their downtime. And how Rain plays video games in his room late into the night, with usually at least one other ghoul to keep him company (lounging on his bed, eating snacks, watching intently). And how the ghoul wing is full of music literally all the time. Someone making it. Someone playing it. How they have weekly movie nights, and rotate a cooking schedule. How someone is always baking something (and usually bringing half of it to Copia as a treat). And how the grocery list on the fridge is somehow NEVER blank (who is eating all the cheese?). And how all of their sex is good, but not all of it is nasty. There is plenty of perfectly average sex where everyone gets off and no one cries about it (though there are definitely those days too). There is also plenty of sex where not everyone gets off and that's ok too--it is what it is. I've really just been in my feels about ghouls as a family and how they live together and work together and love each other. And how they bicker about stupid shit (like whose turn it is to wash the dishes) and slightly more important things (like if you're going to fuck in the kitchen can you at least sanitize when you're done because we eat here, you monsters) and sometimes really important shit like clergy politics and their worries about their Papa and what happens to them if something happens to him.
I've been thinking about smut too--duh--but within this context. Thinking about how meaningful even the nastiest scenes are. How much they trust and care for each other. How they would kill and die for each other (and their papa) without a second though. I've also been thinking about murder ghouls. But, you know when am I not?
