DATE || ZACH&RIDLEY
Zach wasn’t quite sure what had made him agree to a date, especially all things considered, but somehow here he was picking up some flowers and checking his watch to make sure he wasn’t late as he headed to Ridley’s place. For someone who had been so worried about people seeing them together in the past, he was surprisingly calm tonight. Perhaps it was the idea of just seeing her without there being a subtle awkwardness or a yelling match between them was enough to make him agree to something he had always refused in the past. Whatever the case, Zach found himself at Ridley’s door, knocking a few times as he stood there waiting, a part of him wondering if she’d even answer the door – after all this would be one way to not only crush him but humiliate him and get him back for lying to her and writing a paper on her problems behind her back. But once again, the optimist in him couldn’t help but come out as he hoped for the best.
Once the door opened, Zach found himself unable to hold back a smile, "So this is what you look like when you get all dolled up just for me, good to know." Holding out the small bouquet of flowers, Zach shook his head since he wasn't really the romantic, nor was he an expert at dates since he was usually too devoted to his work to really go out on any, but he was trying, "These are for you."
