New Friend Marathon II Artie and Ana

Ana had seen the movies more times than she could count. It was exciting that she had found someone to share her love for the movies. She has never met Artie but she had heard he was super nice and that was what she needed in her life. She had Kurt but she couldn’t even figure out where their relationship was and she had other things going on so she decided a marathon of movies where you could forget about everything would be great,

Ana grabbed a pair of shredded jeggings from the floor and pulled on a purple sweater. Grabbing her flip flops, she slipped them on as she grabbed her blanket. In her other hand she grabbed all eight movies.Quickly rushing out the door, she closed it with her foot. She walked down to the kitchen and braced herself. She could do this. She grabbed and packet of popcorn and popped itt into the microwave. Bogging a bag of popcorn shouldn’t be too hard,. It smelled good but she could ignore that. When the popcorn was done she grabbed everything she could the be best she could in her two hands.

She went down the hall to what she hoped was Artie’s room. She had seen him leaving a few times so she would be taking a possibly embarrassing guess. She knocked and waited for an answer.

Admittedly a small sliver of regret clouded her mind as she scrambled to tidy up her apartment in the expectance of Nolan. Inviting him over had been a spur of the moment decision, but at this point there was no turning back. Part of her wanted to put away her nice vases and trinkets in the event that the two got into an argument, which they would. They always did. However, she decided against it deeming it inappropriate and unnecessary. Instead continued tidying up for his arrival. This included getting blankets and throwing them onto the sofa, putting some popcorn into the microwave and throwing some of Chevy’s toys around. That was mainly so that she wouldn’t hear any attitude from him about how she should be taking care of her dog.

Once all of her tidying had ended she found herself bored and without anything to do other than sit on the floor and play with her excitable puppy. He had also been a spur of the moment decision and the act of actually getting him had mainly been to prove Nolan wrong, but he was a purchase she definitely didn’t regret. Apparently spur of the moment decisions had been a popular trend for the girl, reminding her to make a mental note to not make any more. They could lead to something she didn’t really want to get herself into, like keeping someone around for too long. After being lost in her thoughts for a moment, she heard a knock at the door followed by the adorable barks of Chevy’s. With this she yelled out a quick “Coming!” before pulling her front door open to let the male in.
