All Hallows Eve | Bade
Beck wrapped an arm around his girlfriend's shoulders as they wandered out of the theatre and out into the street. It was getting quite late but the streets were far from dark and empty, people dressed in all sorts of costumes were milling about. It was hardly ever dark in LA but tonight was especially bright, light-up costumes, jack o' lanterns and strings of lights left the street covered in a multicolored glow.
He pulled Jade closer as a particularly loud group of giggling girls brushed past them, very clearly intoxicated and teetering in their too-high heels. One girl stumbled just as they passed them and crashed into him hard before one of her friends tugged her back, preventing her from knocking him over completely. He rolled his eyes at the lack of apology sent their way and was glad when they finally made it back to his car.
"Where to?" He asked once they were in the car. He put the car into gear and pulled away from the curb as he awaited her decision, it was getting late after all and he didn't want to presume that she didn't want to just head home.
