Claire smooths down the dress she is wearing with hands that aren't technically hers. She's a bit nervous and apprehensive about this whole thing, but it's excitement that wins over both of those other feelings. For the first time, she will be using her ability to sneak into an event, something she has never done before, even as a child, and somehow doing it now reminds her of her mother, who often changes her appearance for her career as an Auror. She just hopes that she will be able to pull this off without being caught. That's why she turns to the girl walking at her side.
"Isla, did you bring enough potion with you to make it through the entire evening?" she asks the Slytherin girl. It's an important question, if they want to make sure all their bases are covered. The success of their plan is on the line! Sneaking out of the school had been a challenge already. They had succeeded, and had not been caught, but had this been purely out of luck? If it was, Claire doesn't want to push it, because it is bound to run out eventually.
