Marcus didn’t know how to feel about Leon joining the mayor. He said he was trying to protect him. But the mayor killed people. Had people killed. And Leon was a part of that. He didn’t know how to feel. He needed to be able to trust him. But he couldn’t just go without talking to Leon. So, he needed to talk to him. 

After Ric finally let him go from Blackout, he went to Leon’s place, hopping the back fence and knocking on the back sliding door. He hoped Leon would wake up and let him in. H e wasn’t sure after the whole Sebastian and Leon argument. He wasn’t supposed to reveal their relationship. But now someone knows...God. He hoped Leon would let him in.

Help || Marcus & Leon

Marcus got caught up running errands tonight, since there was a lot of traffic coming home. He told Leon not to wait up until he got home, since he was sure the man would be able to take care of himself for at least a little while. So, when he came into the house, he didn't expect to be needed so suddenly. He locked the door behind him, carrying a tote bag of a number of different things from the different shops he went to that evening and put it on the counter. It was dark inside, so he flicked on the light, figuring his owner was already asleep and wouldn't notice if the light in the kitchen was turned on.

However, Marcus perked up when he heard struggling down the hall. He figured since he didn't have any perishables, he could unpack later. He was needed. "Leon?" He asked, making his way down the hallway into the bedroom.

"Can I kiss you," for Linoleum

Leo is looking at him in the way Liam hates most, his eyes so goddamn vulnerable, so open and honest with him that he might as well be looking at him naked. And he hates that more than anything else, he can’t make himself look away from those eyes.

Liam reaches over to the wall and shuts off the light. In the silence, in the darkness, his eyes struggling to adjust to the change in light, he can still hear the words in his head - so vivid he can almost feel the breath against his ear still.

"It’s alright. It’s dark."

It takes Liam less than two seconds to close the distance between them. To grasp Leo’s head with both hands and press his lips against the other’s, much more tenderly than he had originally intended to.

House call || Jordan & Leon

Cash was short lately. For whatever reason, vampires were just not as interested in feeding from Jordan as they used to. He figured it had something to do with being bled dry, and Leon being banned from the club for it. No one wanted to risk it with him, he figured. So, he was behind on his rent, and he already asked his landlady for an extension. He couldn't rightfully ask for another. There was only one thing he could do at this point. He needed to go private. Make house calls. And his first customer was the one who put him in the hole in the first place. He figured the guy was hungry for fresh blood, so he basically had nothing to lose. He hated himself for doing this, but he had no other choice if he didn't want to end up on the streets. He looked Leon up and knocked on his door, tapping his foot impatiently as he waited for the vampire to respond.

Out on the Street || Marcus & Leon

Marcus didn't know how long it had been since the fire. A few weeks? A month? He wasn't sure. Regardless, he spent a lot of his time in Leon's home, only leaving when he was feeling restless. Even then he'd maybe tend at the bar if he could or smoke a cigarette at the lake. But he always made sure to be careful. No one could know where he was staying. The last thing he wanted was for Leon to get in trouble for helping him. So, he sneaked around at late hours, spending the days indoors. He didn't mind, though. He and Leon were starting to smooth things over, and he was beginning to feel more comfortable being affectionate with him. Maybe Leon could trust him now and know he'd given up his grudge. Leon had proven he was out for Marc's best interest and maybe, just maybe they could develop a successful relationship. Maybe being together in this world wasn't so bad after all.

Earlier this morning, they took yet another step towards solidifying their relationship, having actual sex for the first time since the outbreak, and it was great. Out of all the times he and Leon had sex, over all those years, this was the most intimate. He wished he hadn't waited so long to reach this point, and tonight, he just glowed from the inside out. He slept most of the day after that and woke up to the smell of food. It was peculiar considering they'd been eating nothing but dry protein bars and stale bread. So, he tossed the blanket aside, shivering as the cold bit his skin and threw on a hoodie and a pair of jeans from the closet before limping into the kitchen. His ankle didn't hurt hardly at all, but it was still tender if he walked too quickly. He smiled at Leon (who was slaving over the stove) before coming up behind in and snaking his arms around his waist, holding the older male close as he took his scent in, pecking the back of his neck. "What're you making?"
