small talk || blake&dahlia.

It had been a few weeks, but Dahlia’s words about her new exhibit rang in Blake’s mind still when he’d pass the art room at school. He’d truly always had a thing for the creative and artsy type, which explained Kiera and Dahlia and even Kayla. Even though the two were no longer on good terms, he still wanted to support her work and find a way to show her that he still cared, even if he did mess everything up. Emmett had messed everything up.
With his hands stuffed into his pockets, the dark haired boy had his first steps into the exhibit, eyes scanning the walls curiously. He was used to this, he’d always loved it. Even when Dahlia had confused him most, her work always made sense to him, and he loved that about her. Maybe he just never told her that enough. As his eyes skimmed the walls, they finally fell on a familiar brunette standing in front of one of the pieces. His eyes met with hers, a small smile tugging up the corners of his lips. His steps drew him closer to her. “This is nice, D. Really great.”
