“Good morning, good morning!”
Aura was extra chirpy coming into Stop&Paws that day, and she didn’t even have any sugar in her system yet. The sun was shining brightly outside and the air was warm, making her feel especially energetic even in the early hours. It also helped that she wasn’t exactly going in to work, but rather to play with and help bathe the little animals. She was a volunteer at the store and, although she wasn’t getting paid for it, seemed to be spending more and more time there.
“Hello, Lucky,” she squatted down to greet one of the younger puppies that had recently found his way there, a sweet smile on her face, “You’re looking like you need a bath today. Have you seen Wukong? I should probably tell him that I’m here first...”
