When the darkness creeps in, I feel my nightmares watching me || Samzona
Sam had been insomniac for most of her life. it had only been in the past few years she had started to win her battles. Therefore her body’s willingness to sleep was still a novelty that she didn't want to pass up. Mustering the little energy she had left she opened an on call room door. This wasn't her usual place to get some rest at the hospital but that room seemed too far away. Sam had been awake for so long now she had lost count how many hours it had actually passed since she last closed her eyes.
Stepping inside it took a few seconds for her to snap out of her semi conscious state and notice that the room was already occupied. A figure was tossing and turning on the bottom bunk with the blanket pulled up over their head. Sam’s eyes widened what the hell was the person doing. Perplexed she inched a little closer, debating for a second on whether or not she should just turn around leave and find somewhere else to sleep. Slightly worried about what she would find underneath Sam snapped the cover down to find Arizona Robbins soaked in sweat and deep in the clutches of a nightmare.
Should she leaver her would the other woman be angry that Sam invaded her personal space like this. Taking a deep breathe she knelt down at the side of the bed. “Hey Arizona - your having a bad dream. Arizona-- its me Sam-- you’re okay, Whatever is happening its just a nightmare. Come on wake up now, you’re okay”
