Playdate | Aura & Lucas

“Lucas! Jasmine!” Aura called out happily, waving as she run up to the father-daughter pair. Having been in the sunlight since earlier that morning, she seemed to be positively radiant with warm, her golden hair shimmering with sunlight. Following behind her was what seemed like a small ball of fluff - Bao Bao rushing excitedly on his short legs. 

It wasn’t the first time that they had bumped into Lucas and his daughter at the park, though it had been a while since. Aura liked talking to him - he was a nice man and even somewhat reminded her of her own father, seeing how he adored Jasmine. “I didn’t expect to see you here,” she smiled at Lucas before kneeling down to pull his daughter into an embrace, “And you too, ma petite princesse. You have grown up so much!”

nana と takeru :: play date

His interview ended on what he felt was a positive note, a little pep in his step carrying him from the building and out into the brisk autumn air. To think that just a few days prior he was chattering away about this very dream of his with the rest of the band as they all brought up their own future plans only to now actually have an opportunity that would bring him that much closer to it. It was a little surreal but he liked the feeling as the reality slowly had begun to set in. He figured chances were slim what with the packed room he had waited in whilst filling out his application but the opportunity itself was still pretty great.

Thinking to himself that he needed to go do something to burn off this excess excitement, he freed his phone from his pocket and began to scroll through his contacts. Ryota was out at job interviews and Toru was off with another girl he had set his eyes on. Tomoya was probably free but, not to be taken the wrong way, he tended to give lengthy lectures whenever the members hung out with him one on one and though Takeru loved him like he was a brother, that would certainly put a damper on this fantastic mood he was in. Jieun was always busy and Hyo being off busy doing something he hadn't asked her about, he silently eliminated contacts until a friendly name popped into his head. "Nana!" He said her name excitedly and quickly dialed her number, his phone pressing to his ear in hopes his childhood friend would answer. They needed to hang out more often and there was no better time than the present.
