Alaska felt a little disorientated by the sudden turn of events in what she had expected to be just another ordinary, draining, day as she stumbled out of the cold shower -- forcing herself out from beneath the soothing water when she noticed her skin starting to wrinkle. From waking up with a hangover, to ending up in bed with a guy she barely knew. Spending a day like that was hardly new for her seeing as it had been how she spent most of her mid-teen years. Getting drunk and sleeping around was all she knew how to do at one point, but things had changed since then, drastically, yet at the same time she'd managed to go full circle. Drowning out her deafening, unwanted, thoughts and feelings with alcohol or sex, or both, was how her sixteen year old self had coped with everything, and although the girl had tried so hard not to let herself slip back into her old ways she couldn't help herself. The never ending pit of darkness she felt within her had become unbearable, yet the time she had spent with Damien had helped her forget. Maybe turning back into her old self wouldn't be such a bad idea after all.
Though the longer the girl thought about everything which had happened, the sicker it made her feel. Hands had travelled all over her body, lips had kissed at every inch of her skin, but they hadn't belonged to the one person she so desperately craved to be near to, and they never would again. Feeling herself begin to fall apart, Alaska rushed from her room as quickly as she could. She knew how the rest of the night would plan out if she didn't distract herself -- she'd break down, only stopping to let sleep over come her, before undoubtedly picking up where she left off in the morning. Her mind was tearing her apart, she needed to surround herself with people. To be in the company of someone, anyone. But as she entered the kitchen, she found herself alone once more. Sighing, the girl settled on pouring herself some water and watching some TV instead, hoping that would help calm her. Turning to head back out the door, glass in hand, Alaska found herself crashing into someone, too distracted by her mind to have even notice someone else coming into the kitchen. "Shit, sorry."
