A couple Los Shamgelenos walk into a taqueria. 🌮🇲🇽🌽 After politely asking the proprietor if she’s heard the new “Lost In Translation” album by #OmarOffendum & @thanksjoey, the owner says ‘absolutamente’ & that her favorite song is #PacificSyriano because she loves #Arabic rap, loves @nikohigh’s hair, & is a big fan of alliteration in any language ... This pretty & gritty city is so #multicultural, so linguistically layered & so ethnically diverse that just driving from one neighborhood to another can feel like #international travel. 💺 It’s one of the things I miss most about life in #LosAngeles before the pandemic.
