I love the profile of the 1958 Packard hardtop, but sadly those fiberglass pieces glued to the front end ruin the car. I want to take one of these, remove the extra fiberglass, and make it look like the 57, which used the same body shell, but did not offer a hard top.

I remember this car caused quite a controversy when it was published in Turning Wheels (the magazine for the Studebaker Drivers Club). A former Studebaker-Packard employee told a story about how this car was a prototype for a new V-12 Packard. Two were supposedly built in 1963. However, the whole thing turned out to be a lie. The car was just a photoshop of a Cadillac. I still love the car anyway. That coupe would be the perfect car for cruising the town.
