"Templar Savas. What is this." Her tone is playful while her weight settles back into the other woman. Both lounging happily in the cushion of their shared bed. She rests her head against her shoulder, hips resting between Rana's thighs while she holds the little sheet of parchment up. Her eye is moving as she reads through the first selection, of name, age - details she didn't need, she always remembers that her favorite former Templar was at least a couple years older than her. "Be honest Rana, you had your eye on me long before that, how many times did we pass each other and I hadn't even realized. How long did you follow, I wonder? You carried me, but you had to know where I was to begin with." And there's a little wink while her eye draws up to Rana's face. A joke made despite how little she remembered after disrupting that ritual. It had all happened to fast, one moment she was on her feet in pursuit, the next the world had gone dark - and then a part of her was gone.
She taps her finger against the paper, once, twice, and then stops at the nicknames. She smiles, every single nickname she enjoyed, and enjoys hearing them. She turns her head, touching Rana's chin to draw her head to to peck her mouth, "Savas." Peck, "Temple, Templar- " Peck, Peck, one for each name. "Tally, Mark, And Work up." Only she gives one extra kiss, an unspoken token of affection for another name - lover. And then the she tilts her head, resting her temple against Rana's chin before her eye returns to the paper.
"For someone so blunt and so easily flustered, you are awfully poetic when you are speaking your heart." Reading the words made her chest twist up into a tender warmth, an affection that fluttered in her belly and soothed her to her very bones. Even if half of Thedas falls into the sea.. Neve smiles gently, and then shifts from where she lay against Rana. Perching up onto her knee - hands setting the parchment aside to set them on the other woman's stomach as she swings a thigh over hers, and the other to properly straddle her lap. And it's here, Neve kisses her.
Kisses her until Rana's hands settle on her hips and Neve can't help her own trembling excitement as she brings to grind down. But just before ti gets too heated she lifts her head. "We can invite only our friends, those who are close to us. We won't tell anyone, not until after.. " Better to not risk it, to not risk anything going wrong - and so she kisses her again and wastes no time in deepening it. Lifting up onto her knees to wrap her arms around Rana's neck and claw her fingers into her shoulder and back. Yes, they can hash out the details of adoption later - for now, she wanted her wife to be.
