I just saw that post and I'm so glad that I'm not the only one! I know that Jared and Jensen are actually married and that they love their wives, it's clear for anyone to see, it's just that sometimes there are moments between j2 that can't really be mistaken for anything else or there are unexplainable moments that just make you wonder.. and you can't exactly explain away every single strange moment between them. I just feel like there's something there, but that they also love their wives?

yes, and it’s liberating to me to say that we can think this and not have to be lumped in with tin hatters. i don’t have an issue with them AT ALL, i’m just trying to find my own way of describing how i feel, and it’s good to know you and the others feel the same. i started a tag for the posts i’ve had to describe my feelings towards Padackles, and this straw hat term will be helpful in the future. we’re in this together : )

Dude please tell me your knowledge on the probability that J2 have had or has kissed

i’ve shipped many rpf ships in my life, but none of those couples decided to raise their families together…so that’s one difference. and it’s nice to have 11ish years of stories of them spending most days of the year together, that’s perhaps another difference.  

it’s like…they met and thought the other was hot, they got into bar fights and defended each other, they lived together, they bragged to gay friends about each other, you know the story, i don’t need to go into the wine company they’re starting together. they just have a lot for us to go on. who knows if they’ve done anything, but yo, have they thought of doing anything? 

i’ve had friends i’m affectionate with, but i’ve never thought of messing around with them. i’ve also had friends that i was into, off and on, and they were into me, but we never did anything about it, though we came close. i’ve had friends where we were into each other, and things did happen. so j2 could fall into one of these 3 categories? it’s okay if they’re truly brothers and lifelong friends, but maybe they’ve thought about things off and on? maybe more? dunno, i’d love to know, we’ll probably never know. but dang it’s fun to watch them hold hands and get drunk in trailers and go swimming together

Oh, sorry. It's perfectly fine to disagree with me on that kiss thing and i just like to over-analyze and I didn't mean it in a serious way, since I know they're obviously married and everything. I just meant it in a crazy shipper way and I just like to overreact over nothing. I didn't mean anything and I wasn't expecting a real-life serious and true answer. Just a joking shipper response, if that makes any sense? :)

okay so, the message you sent me wasn’t meant to be serious? i know people have different levels when it comes to shipping, but i guess it’s hard for me to relate to or predict the way some people ship. like a few months ago there was an ask in the j2 tag where someone was flailing about something they’d done, and the answer that was given was similar, and to me the situation had nothing to flail about? so i actually reblogged the ask and explained to them what i thought really happened, and they were upset by what i said. they told me they were just joking, which sounds like how you say you ship too? like…you blur the line of canon and fanon so that if j2 do something “shippy” you take it to an extreme on purpose (like you take something and add fanon to it) even though you know it’s not actually real? based on the anons i’ve had and some of the posts i see, i think a lot of people to do the same thing.

um…so i guess…i’m weird : ( and i could talk for days about how and why Padackles could be real, and i could talk about fanon stuff too, i just can’t bring myself to blur those two things together the way most of you guys can. fuck idk if you’ll see this but here it is. i ship it but i’m unable to pretend they’re actually fucking because i’d need proof or something (in order to pretend? wtf i’m shutting up now)

sometimes I think about…how Jared fell for Genevieve, a costar he was working with, and how Jensen fell for Danneel the same way (though she’d known j2 for a few years beforehand, they still got together only after working together). and I think about how Jared and Jensen were the costars who only ended up each others best friend.

that means something right? I’m not sure what…but I just feel like…if there was something more there then…it would have happened right?

I know there’s more than one type of j2 shipper. some of us think of it as pure fanon and fun nonsense, and some of us tin hat to the point that we think they fuck, often. I guess I’m the kind who wonders IF there was something there…but it was never said. and now it’s burried in the years of family holidays and loving wives and shared strollers.

I’ve made myself sad, I must go >__>

you’re not best friends forever with someone for 10 years and not share a bed i don’t care how old they are.
